Let me say…Yum..yum..yum. Great old Italian Restaurant with excellent tasting food. I gave 4 stars on service because they did not have enough servers for a Tuesday night. I overheard the Maitre de tell another couple they were dead the last Tuesday so they didn’t schedule many servers for this Tuesday and they were slammed. Well hiw about you always be ready with staff and then send home if you aren’t busy. Anyways, our service was slow…we had tonask for most everything and while we weren’t in a big hurry at 7:30 at night we were the last to leave at closing. Our food was amazing and the atmosphere is even better. They have cute little bread sticks at your table with this amazing garlic butter so this was our saving grace as it took awhile to get out food which was kind of okay because you don’t feel like your meal is shoved at you to hurry. Overall it was wonderful and I would go back again. Bread is so yummy, and the calamari was perfect.

Been here many times in the past without issue but our last trip left a bad enough taste in our mouths to warrant a review. We already knew the parking lot is small and so is the restaurant, so I don’t need to touch on those items. The food is good minus the small portion size for veal piccata with a side of Alfredo pasta which does not mix well at all. My old fashioned was half an orange with not much of anything else so I wouldn’t order that drink.

Not worth the wait. As an Italian American who grew on homemade Italian food, Vincent’s Italian Cuisine was average at best and not worth the 45 minute wait we spent in a small crowded foyer. This place is small and the tables are too close together. The service was mediocre but it was nice to be greeted by the owner and host upon entering, however departing was less pleasant as staff and customers were smoking right outside the front door.

Vincent’s is a quality, authentic Italian restaurant with delicious food & impeccable service. We shared 2 appetizers which were amazing, the “Sicilian Rose”, a baby artichoke deep fried in an Olive oil with grape tomatoes. The other was a fried eggplant stack with pork sausage topped with red gravy. Italian Salad was next, then our entree was Crab cakes, with a side of cavatuni macaroni in a white wine sauce and a side of broccoli florets. Definitely an unforgettable experience, with a meal that won’t be soon forgotten! (Very low lights, my pictures didn’t come out.)

I don’t know if I can rate this restaurant high enough. I didn’t know exactly what to expect going in but was thoroughly impressed. The staff were phenomenal and the food was even better

Excellent! Our first visit here, we ordered the seafood stuffed double cut pork chop and Eggplant seafood medallions. Both dishes were flavorful and expertly prepared. Wait staff were perficient and very attentive. This is a small restaurant that has a large local following so be sure to make reservations. Will definitely return, thanks for the experience.

Beautiful and intimate. Vincent’s was one of the best places I’ve had the pleasure of dining in. The owner himself was there and spoke with us, and other patrons. The food is flavorful, and the staff is friendly. Parking can be a nightmare if you don’t luck up and get a spot. But the dining experience is worth it. They have a really good bar tender! Best drink I’ve had!

You will not find another quiet, intimate setting for you and your guests than a night at Vincent’s in Metairie. Prices are good, quality food, and dishes are prepared with love. Service is amazing as well, very knowledgeable and always there when you need them. If you haven’t been there yet or it’s been a while since you’ve went like me, do yourself a favor and stop by.✅️✅️✅️

Nice romantic ambiance. I had a pasta with grilled chicken which was good. My favorite was the crab and corn bisque served in a bread bowl. Not a huge fan of the red sauce is a bit too tangy for me but strongly recommend the bisque.

This is by far the worst Italian food ever! I ordered oysters Rockefeller. Came out with 6 greasy fried oysters and crunchy spinach with no sauce. Awful! Then, Italian salad had wilted lettuce overpowered by olives and last but not least…the veal parmesan was burned and sour! Their red gravy is bitter, too garlicky and tastes like it is overpowered with red wine. Go to Impastatos instead. They won’t disappoint! This place is awful. Service is fine, but food is soooo bad, even that has no redeeming factor. The inflated price for the nastiness is also disgusting! Tastes like they put poison in their red gravy! Don’t go there!!!! You’ll be sorry! Yucccck!!!!!!!!
