My absolute favorite sushi place in Seattle. The quality of the fish is unmatched, and the menu is full of great options. Everything here is perfect from the nigiri to the sashimi to the rolls. I highly recommend the paradise roll, it is probably my single favorite sushi roll I’ve ever had. Come here if you want great sushi in Seattle.

Really enjoyed the Chirashi bowl – there were so many different types of sashimi served on the rice and the portion was incredibly filling. I ordered the Nigiri Regular Platter on another occasion and the fish was fresh and excellent! Service was also great!

We could really see the sushi chef’s personal touches to the restaurant, from the jazz music to all the different paintings on the wall. The environment was not what I expected of a sushi restaurant but I really enjoyed the cozy, artsy feel to it. For appetizers, we ordered the vegetable tempura, which was lightly battered and pretty crispy. Then we got udon, I forgot which one, but when we tasted it, the broth was really sour. We asked the waiter to bring it back to see what was wrong. The sushi chef then came to our table to apologize and said that one of the chefs added vinegar to it. We got a new bowl of udon and it tasted way better. The rolls we got included the spider roll, cucumber roll, negi-toro roll, and godzilla roll. They were all okay. Finally, we ordered the sushi deluxe which was the best part. All 7 types of fish were really fresh and pleasant to eat. Overall, if you were to come here, maybe skip the rolls and definitely get the sashimi deluxe!

It’s a very quint space, so there may be a wait, but the experience is so worth it. Food was amazing, service was fantastic, the atmosphere was authentic. We enjoyed it!

Living in the area, I’m sad it took me so long to come here. Sushi was delicious and quality was great–don’t expect high end, but it was all fresh and solid. Prices are reasonable, the sushi deluxe menu item seems to be the best deal. Highly recommend that, perfect variety of nigiri.

Great sushi and yakisoba. Usually yakisobas are all oil and no flavor but this place has a really good one.

I got the shrimp tempura and it was fresh and delicious. However, they charge $1.50 for to go orders (container fee). This sounds like a shady way of keeping menu prices low to attract customers. I haven’t experienced this in any restaurants in Seattle. Their packaging is standard- brown bag and compostable white container. I hope they rethink their strategy.

Really excellent and very fresh sushi. We had the rainbow roll which was superb, the spicy salmon which was excellent and the futomaki which was large and super fresh! The hamachi and salmon nigiri were large and melted in your mouth! The prices were cheap for the quality. Service was so so as the servers were too busy. The lighting was just too dim but still the food gives this place a five stars!

They were worried about our party of ten, but handled our mob with great kindness. The food was mostly exceptional, tempura veggies not cooked entirely. This is a unassuming, dark place, nothing fancy. The reason to go here is really great food.
