They forgot some of the food!!! But it is still 5 STARS!!! Got home and an item was missing. Called the restaurant and the manager, Joy got on the phone. She was a delight to talk to, apologized profusely and offered a free pie for having to make two trips to the restaurant. When I got back to restaurant the woman at the front knew who I was and got everything for me. She also was singing Joy’s praises of how good a manger she is and how she likes working for her. Keep it up Joy, we will be repeat customers for sure!

Have been getting the chicken fried steak breakfast frequently over the last few weeks. It’s been okay. The last 2 times were a bit rough..missing food ,burnt eggs etc. Today however my breakfast was OUTSTANDING!! Truly delightful! Thank you!! Delicious!

Simple pancakes were a big disappointment today. Overdone. Normally I’d have sent them back but the wait was 20+ minutes for the first order. Although we’re normally asked how everything was at checkout, today we were not asked. I think they already knew the answer. The last trip for pancakes was excellent and consistency is important. Won’t be returning any time soon.

Just walked out of the Village inn for the 2nd time. I’ve been eating breakfast here for over 6 months and now I’m never going back here. 2 weeks ago I was told we can’t seat you because we only have 2 waitresses they only had 4 tables seated and one was eating and the other was being delivered there order. Today I was seated then sat there for 15 minutes without a waitress, yet they seated 3 tables in the same area and a waitress took all 3 tables order before me. BITE ME

I don’t know how this restaurant is staying open. The food is good, the prices are reasonable, but they’re understaffed every time we come here to eat. It feels like there’s three people running the whole front-end (manager included). Since we go at odd hours, it’s rarely busy, but we still need to catch the wait staff’s attention for simple things. Annoying, but understandable if they are having turnover issues (I don’t know).

Dawn the Manager is wonderful, without hesitation she resolved my issues with sincerity. My favorite dish is the Ultimate Skillet & the Breakfast burrito both were exceptionally delicious. This location is very clean has friendly staff and our waitress was amazing and kind!

Went to eat there twice within a week. Service was ok. Usually starts off great but they disappear at the end.

On a Sunday morning my party of 3 got seated right away. Pauline was our server and she was the kindest, sweetest young woman ever. Our food was delicious. The over easy eggs and hash browns were prepared just like I like them. I haven’t eaten at Village inn in years because the one in my hometown closed down. I realize from this visit how much I miss it. As far as pancakes go, Village Inn pancakes are the gold standard for me. And if you happen to eat there and get Pauline as your server, tip her well.
