Great hidden gem. The place was very welcoming with a very open feeling space and REAL plants all along the large windows. The staff was extremely attentive, efficient, and made us feel comfortable. As for food, we were pleasantly surprised by prices and the portions were generous. Our breakfast waffles were delicious and fluffy. Home fries and coffee felt “home made” in the best sense of it!

Great service and food! Got the seafood omelette which I just LOVE, but it could’ve been done a little more on the inside. Had to drive 30 minutes for just breakfast since the old location nearest me closed awhile ago, but it was def worth it!!

The food wasn’t half bad. Actually thought their home fries stole the show. The steak was cooked just right, & a decent portion as well. The eggs were perfect but, I really liked the home fries the most. The waitress was busy. She a few guest & she was the only server. She did her job efficiently. The restroom was slightly dirty but wasn’t bad. Overall it was a decent option upon my travels.

12 years ago my husband and I would have breakfast here every morning on the way to work. Breakfast is awesome! Home fries with or without onions, delicious omelets, ask for Belgian waffles with strawberries & whipped cream!

A long time established diner, that has stood the test of times. Growing up in the area as a child to adult…, I’m sad that I have never dined at this place. Walking in it gives you that personal diner feel, and adds more flavor to the already delicious foods. The only issue that I would speak of is staffing shortage. The day I visited, there was only one waitress on duty. But she was absolutely wonderful and didn’t show any stress, with the location filling up with patrons. I ordered the “Special”, which was eggs, bacon, fried potatoes, hash, and toast. I added scrapple ad an extra side. Totally delicious, and it was so much food that I couldn’t finish my dish. I’m looking forward to returning to try other dishes.

Great breakfast, best home fries I’ve EVER had, and I don’t like home fries! Eggs were made to perfection. I live in Bethesda, was out here on business, but I’ll make the trip out this way again on my own time, it was THAT GOOD! Parking however is of a premium.

Edit: 6/22… Went back. Great food and service.. Sat am so busy !! Brought around refill for coffees both decaf and reg…. Had a ham & cheese/western omelets (pics) came with toast and home fries total $25 for 2 w/coffee *** From 8 years ago ….Good food, fair price. Service is good. Staff looking at their phones and chatting with each other, they did take of customers, just did not get ” a warm fuzzy feeling”. Will try another place. Overall not bad, not great.

Now this is how breakfast should be! Great selection of home cooked food that is prepared the way it used to be. No prepackaged or generic reheated frozen food here. The service was excellent and prices were reasonable. This was my first time here but I will definitely be coming back!

If you are not looking for it… You would drive right by. Parking is often an issue as the lot is small and hard to get into. But once inside the staff is quick to take your order and drop off food. You have to stand inline to pay and that’s the only real hold up. Breakfast comes up fast and hot. It’s ok, but not something I would seek out. The dinning area is full of regulars who grin and hug each other your whole meal. They never make it clear that you are not one of the regulars.
