I’ve had The Village Greek several times, especially when they are at Greenvale Vineyards. Their lamb gyro is superb, with real lamb, and fresh ingredients. Never had the grape leaves until I tried theirs: AMAZING! Chef Niko and Efrosyni really deliver real Greek taste and quality. And for the grand finale, make sure you get their baklava!!! Just delicious! Great food and friendly and accommodating staff. Truly great customer experience. Highly recommended!

Greek food is one of my favorites…WHEN it’s made fresh. Eat Village Greek was absolutely delicious and fresh. I honestly felt that I was in someone’s personal kitchen somewhere in Greece. The Falafel and Chicken Giro were so satisfyingly authentic and light!!

Delicious lunch! My daughter and I had the Chicken Gyros and Greek fries – so good! The fries were amazing, but the gyros were definitely the star of the show. The chicken was moist and flavorful and the pita was warm and fluffy. Had a great conversation with the chef – the environment is great. Definitely recommend.

This was by far the greatest REAL lamb gyro I have ever had. They actually use leg of lamb- the real deal! I noticed that the tzatziki was made from scratch and it helped that they were all super friendly and cheerful throughout my serving experience; I felt like I was in Greece! You NEED to check them out if you want to taste original recipes from Greece. This is the BEST Greek food in Rhode Island!

Ordered a Lamb Gyro. after 40 minutes, the 3 pieces of “meat” I bit into ended up into a napkin, so chewy I gagged on the 3rd piece and couldn’t take it anymore. I brought it back, with chewed fat chunks in a napkin. the “chef” argued he uses fresh leg of lamb, ( unlike the “meatloaf” others use ( which tastes amazing, unlike this fat) but if I “think its chewy, they will shave it first. another 30 minutes later I though they forgot about me, so I go to the truck, they immediately make it, A-Holes… shaved, and still just as chewy. you’ld think they would know how to cut on the bias…. worst Gyro ever. and no flavor to the Tzatziki sauce. should have gone to the Clam Chowder truck.

Their food takes us right back to Santorini Greece a few years ago. From their fantastic spanakopita and awesome souvlaki to dessert of incredible, can’t-stop-eating-them/ best we’ve ever had baklava! We love everything they dish up. As good as (and really better) than any Greek restaurant we have visited in the area. Thank you Chef Niko!

I’ve visited numerous areas of Greece and many other eastern parts of the Adriatic, Mediterranean, and Aegean Seas. You would be unquestionably delighted to experience this authentic cuisine. The Kokkinisto and lamb gyro was incredible. It reminded me of late nights in Kalamata!
