Service is slow. The glass of merlot was okay. Crab cakes had no flavor and tasted soggy, calamari was mediocre, verde salad was okay but the grapefuit in it was gross, tomato soup was good. Overall I don’t reccomend this place, and I won’t return.

The food here was amazing! From the crab cakes and garlic bread, to the risotto and chocolate desert (can’t remember the exact name of it)! Vanessa served us & gave us a wonderful experience. My mom & I now consider her a good friend. She is as sweet as can be & I would absolutely recommend this awesome restaurant to anyone looking for great food & service!!

Horrible service and I was the ONLY one there. My salad took forever to come out and they brought the bread out after I was done with my salad. The salad looked old and my food was horrible. I ordered the chicken Parmesan and it did not look appetizing and it was very chewy. The fettuccine was not good. I did pay for my food even though I didn’t eat it. They didn’t try to ask how the food was or anything. I can hear the family there talking, the waitress paid more attention to the child that was there. I usually don’t leave bad reviews but this was a must. Horrible service for only me being there I can’t imagine how it is if there was more ppl there.

We normally love Villa Romano. We arrived at 6:15 Friday night and they were already out of lamb, which is the reason we chose to eat there. They had one waitress who, at times, actually ran from table to table, and in and out of the kitchen. She walked and ran with a heavy step causing a very disturbing pounding throughout the evening. My order was wrong – to the point I couldn’t eat it because it was way too spicy for me. (I asked for “no spice” because of my Barrett’s disease.) The waitress complained momentarily about people wanting special dishes. We asked for a couple items that we never got. At the end of the meal, she came back to me to say she checked with the kitchen and I was wrong, saying they didn’t put any spice in my food. (Mind you, just one bite put a blister on my tongue – which is still there 2 days later – and I had to spit it out.) We were made to feel that our being there was a huge inconvenience for them. Again, I want to say; we have eaten many lovely dinners at Villa Romano’s and it is normally very good, but last Friday night’s lengthy dinner was an unfavorable experience!

This was some of the best Italian food I have ever had. The service was friendly, hospitable, and very attentive. Our water glasses were never empty. The tortellini was delicious. I wanted to lick the cream sauce off the plate. Definitely worth going.

The food was quite good, the service was fast and fine, and the prices are reasonable. Based on all that, it would be 4 stars at least. However, they’re only open a few hours each evening. I found them closed at 5 pm when they are supposed to be open. The next night, I tried 7 pm and they were open. I was the only customer. Probably because they don’t get many customers, they didn’t have some items listed on the menu. They didn’t have the sausage that was to accompany a pork dish I first ordered, so I changed to salmon. They also didn’t even have the listed raspberry iced tea. As I said, the food I got was really good, both the salad and the salmon. The bread was a disappointing plain white bread.

The food good. Service not so much. Only 1 waiter and 5 tables to work. We sat for 15minutes after asking for our check. I had the duck fettuccini. And the lobster and shrimp ravioli. Odd the bread came after our meals, but the balsamic vinaigrette was yummy. They Reopen at 5pm everyday even weekends. Not sure the early hours but be advised they close then reopen at 5pm.

Paid $50 for a meal I was taking out. Boxes stacked everywhere like no one had eaten there in years. Food seemed like it was frozen prior to being eaten. Don’t know how this place has decent reviews. Restaurant did not have bruschetta but when we asked, the employee said they did and slapped a exorbitant $10 price tag on it. It ended up being 2 pieces of burnt bread with goat cheese on it. I don’t usually leave bad reviews but it has to be known that the food/service was terrible. If you’re considering eating here, please don’t.

It looked a bit underwhelming when I got there but the true foodie reviews made me stay….OMG the food was crazy good!! As good as any of the big boys in Napa! Best pawns I ever ate!! Garlic bread was the best I ever ate don’t miss it! The whole meal was shockingly great! If you can see thought the lack of ambiance the food will blow you away…hidden family gem!!!

We had our Wedding reception there Saturday night, 60 people, it was great! Good food & the Mgr made the whole restaurant available to us. He was so accommodating, due to the Napa fires we had to move our reception on the Wednesday prior (last minute)…..I highly recommend.
