My family has been going to Villa Nova since they opened. I cannot find a better pizza anywhere, and I can think of only 2 other places that can even try to compare. One is in Wisconsin and the other in Brooklyn. My go to is always Sausage, mushroom, onion and green peppers. They use canned or fresh mushrooms depending on your preference. The canned mushrooms make it taste perfect. The crust is nice and crunchy and is not bland. The cheese blend has a perfect consistency. Always ask for your pizza to be well done.

This used to be our go to place for the best Italian beef sandwiches in Chicago. It’s been a 10 year absence and the sandwiches were a disappointment. The garlic bread was on par but the beef seemed lower quality than bland and the red sauce lacked any Italian flavor. Cheese seemed less than average quality, the size was substantially smaller and was no longer wrapped in foil.

First time, trying it under the new owners and unfortunately it’s different. IlTheir sausage was the best, and it is definitely different, and not nearly as good now. I think the old place had fennel seeds in the sausage, which gave it a unique flavor. Also, the sauce seems to be different. There’s something different in the seasonings we think. Six of us tried it, and all agreed it’s not the same as it was. Still a good Pizza, but no idea why they changed it up. Used to be mine and numerous others favorite but not anymore.

This used to be my ultimate favorite pizza place now I will admit it’s been a few years but pretty sure the family size pizza used to be larger. The crust wasn’t very crispy making for a thin floppy pizza. Taste was ok. I ordered 4 family size pizzas…all different and bragged to my co workers about how great this place was…..I was disappointed

I must say this is the best pizza in the area. Super thin crust just like I like it. I went in for a slice and fell in love. There sausage is amazing. Don’t sleep on good pizza. This place has it.

First time I came here, I thought maybe I’d enjoy myself a slice of pizza since I was having a rough day and hadn’t eaten anything. Minute I got there a lady name Lisa was giving me an attitude about what I wanted to order almost as if she didn’t wanna take my order, and when I refused to give my phone number because I don’t feel comfortable giving out my phone number to strangers, she became even more hostile and forced me into giving my phone number in order to order ONE slice of pizza (which I think is ridiculous). Now because of this whole interaction it ruined my experience here…I also noticed Lisa wasn’t wearing any gloves when making a pizza. Which is very unsanitary. Do better Lisa.

Recently moved into the area and saw this place and had to try it. The pizza was very delicious and the options are amazing for example mushrooms or fresh mushrooms or cooking time like “Well Done” or “Burn it”. My pizza was not as crispy as other thin crust pizza’s I’ve had but that’s just my fault because I over loaded it
