Villa Fresh Italian Kitchen Menu – Arlington, VA

Type : Pizza restaurant

Location : Arlington, VA

Villa Italian Kitchen was founded with one store, one family, and one concept in 1964 when our founder, Michele “Michael” Scotto brought his authentic old-world recipes from Naples, Italy to New York City. Michele’s commitment to hospitality, quality ingredients (like homemade dough, 100% whole milk mozzarella and fresh sauce), and the strict loyalty to his now famous recipes, built the business. Since our first Villa Pizza next to the CBS/Ed Sullivan Theater on Broadway, our commitment to quality and genuine hospitality remains the basis of our foundation.

Counter-serve pizza chain with traditional pies & slices, plus pasta & other Italian staples. Based on 37 reviews, the restaurant has received a rating of 3.6 stars. Price $

The food itself was okay. It was food court food so you can’t expect too much. However, they put cheese on my salad when I asked them not to, as well as didn’t give me my drink. But the real problem was that I was on a school trip, so I had to use a voucher, and they refused to take it without explaining clearly why. They proceeded to argue with the next customer about the same thing, (they had the same voucher), but they stood up for themselves so she let them go. We later found out we needed a bar code, and she was ripping them off and throwing them out of sight. Once the previous customer caught her, she stopped doing this. She accepted everyone’s vouchers. So, I went up again and ordered my food, but when I gave the cashier my voucher, she still wouldn’t take it. We again, later found out it was because she ripped off the barcode she needed to scan. The cashier yelled at me to pay, so I had to use my own money, even though I already payed for a voucher. If you are thinking about going here, don’t. The food isn’t authentic and not worth it. No one was wearing gloves, and it was kinda dirty. Plus, the cashier was trying to gaslight me, as well as was yelling at me the whole time when she was in the wrong. Never going there again.

15$ chicken parmesan. That’s as much as a real restaurant, so one would assume the quality would be up to par with a real restaurant. It is not. It’s actually awful. The chicken is incredibly low quality, the pasta is drowned in mediocre sauce, and the portion is smaller than a normal restaurant. Despite the smaller portions I’m not finishing it. Awful restaurant, shouldn’t exist.

For a quick bite this place is good in the mall food court. Food is tasty but lacks the quality. Veg stromboli tastes good with their sauce.

We got two Stromboli‘s veggie and chicken. The chicken tasted like chopped up chicken nuggets. The veggie was fully of greens and barely cheese, the bread was good tho. 6/10

I understand why this place has some bad ratings, but for a food court eatery, this is one of the best experiences I’ve had. We went during a slower time so the server was very attentive. The food was delicious! I was surprised because honestly, I didn’t expect much given the nature of the place (making big batches and reheating throughout the day). My expectations were far exceeded. Try the garlic knots!

Wasn’t the worst pizza I’ve had, but certainly isn’t near the best. Garlic rolls were too garlicy for me. I like garlic bread though, but these were coated heavily. Staff was nice though.

Very average food court food. Staff makes it worse by chatting with each other and on their cell phones, don’t care about getting the order right, and don’t communicate well. Would rate negative stars
