Go to place for Indian groceries and some amazing Indian food.

Ambience is good. There is decent parking and might get tricky on a weekend.

Lots of Indian street food options to choose from. The restaurant is spacious, you enter through a small grocery store/market place and then it opens up to the restaurant area.

Just awesome!!! Awesome Indian food. Didn’t expect that. You must try Chole bhature. That’s the best I’ve had in a long time. I ordered 2 plates of it Pani Puri, Dahi puri, dosa (a little thin) but all are good. Aloo tikki chole was great too. Ras malai was also awesome. Don’t buy the White Peda, jus didn’t feel like peda at all. Some essence in it, gives a chemical taste and smell. While we were there we visited UC Berkeley too.

Spacious and clean, I was late and missed the lunch crowd, resulting in quick service! The flavors are amazing!!! Best chickpeas (cholle)! Worth driving to!!! I wasn’t in the shopping mood, but the goods store is a great import shop.

It was the first time I had tried. Their food is kind of spicy, although I ordered non spicy. But overall, it’s okay, and they have a market that’s cool.

We had an amazing experience at this restaurant! Our order consisted of several dishes including the Cholle Bhature, Samosa Chutney, Lamb Dinner Special, and Masala Dosa. We may have gone a bit overboard with the portions, but who can complain about delicious leftovers?

The menu and lineup is intimidating when you step into Viks, but the food is delicious and the staff is so friendly. We asked about several things on the menu and they patiently answered. After ordering the samosa cholle, chicken kathi kebab, and koliwada fish, we waited in a room where a line of cooks and callers would pump out dishes (this took 15 minutes). We grabbed our to go bag and headed out to the parking lot in the back, where they have 2 covered seating areas with picnic tables that could see at least 12 groups. A great location, great food, and plenty of parking.
