Simple, fresh seafood focused menu that is always on point. The order takers and delivery station employees are always so friendly. It’s not inexpensive but you get what you pay for and this is LBI. This is our go-to on the north end for great food and service in a very casual setting! You can’t beat being at Viking Village and a short walk from Old Barney. We come back many times each summer.

THE BEST ! I highly recommend Fresh Off The Hook. It was Delicious I had the Zuppa Di pesce, it was hot, fresh and memorable. It came with the following: small Lobster tail, clams, mussels, scallops that were very white, shrimp, pasta, extra chopped up clams on top of pasta and a sprinkle of Parmigiano and a piece of bread. $34.95 and worth every penny. Oh yeah, BYO, Beer or Wine, as they don’t have.

We’ve been coming here for several summers, although we did not come last summer. As soon as we finish eating, my husband nailed it: must be new owners. We checked the reviews and sure enough he’s right, new owners. How did we know? Because the portions are skimpy, and the food isn’t prepared as well. So disappointed after coming here loyally many years. We won’t be back.

Amazing fries and food. Fish sandwiches are off the hook! (Pun intended) Had some great stuffed flounder for the dinner hours. Missing star: no fish sandwich on the dinner menu. Even high end restaurants serve a burger at dinner so they really need to rethink not having a simple fried fish sandwich available after the lunch menu ends

Let me tell you the tale of 91.00 French fries. We stopped for lunch on Sunday before leaving the island for the week. We had plans to get TGH fish at Cassidy’s… and thought we would try lunch here. I cannot describe what a poor experience it was. The employees were the only high point of the whole experience. They are friendly college age kids trying, against all odds, to make a good experience for their customers. They were out of all poke bowls so I opted for a mixed fried seafood sampler. Long John Silvers does a better job. The only good part was the French fries and the lone sea scallop. Ordered the CT style lobster roll, which had less than half the lobster of the same roll at Boulevard Clams… for the same price…. and it was over cooked and dry enough to patch a tire.. the goal is to warm the meat not dry it into rubber. The high point of the meal was the French fries. 91.00 French fries. Also. The fish fingers were the driest food I have ever experienced. I didn’t know you could ruin a fish stick this badly. Also. The half and half beverages are wildly unflavorfull…. and they don’t take amex… probably because every customer would dispute their charges. Seriously, so many great restaurants… these guys need a new chef and menu.

Was better a few years ago, we had the fried scallops which were very watery and a lobster roll which tasted like fake crab meat instead of lobster. Kubels is a lot better for a couple of dollars more. The fries were good though

Food is hit or miss. I enjoyed my food but my friend didn’t as much. Depends on what you order. But over all a very pleasant experience.
