Viking drive-through has been a mainstay in Boise since the 60s at least. I remember going here as a kid and having an awesome meal. Today, I ordered a chicken, bacon, ranch, tots, and a shake. The only thing that was good was the shake. The tots were bland with no seasoning. They were not crispy. The chicken sandwich initially had the tomato left off. I had to ask for that, and I felt like the chicken was undercooked. I was unable to finish it. It barely had any browning on it at all, and did not taste good. Unfortunately, I’m sad to say I cannot recommend this establishment any longer. I would love to have left him a great review.

This is not the first time they get our orders wrong ,but this time my husband drove an hour to get 2 burgers,when he gets home we got the wrong order ,im allergic to mayo,all i asked was no mayo and seems like i said put all the mayo you have !! We called ,the manager was extremely rude and argumentative,expecting us to drive back if it would be another day i probably would probably but today was a day that we had a flight and decided not to cook ,i wont ever come back here its a shame !!Poorly made,and worst customer service,she suggested to bring the burgers in a month to get a refund lol i guess that’s why some businesses remain small ..

Lady at the front “the owner” extremely rude to the customers. She expected a tip when I haven’t eaten any of their food and the service wasn’t great. Then proceeded to tell me that I’m a bad person for not tipping. Food was halfway decent, hope they didn’t spit in it

Love this place. I worked for Jerry as a teenager at the Viking, and actually met my now husband, while he and i worked there together. Food is great and so are the people. Jerry is a real peach, and so is his daughter. Such a wonderful family. I would highly reccomend this place to anyone.

I love this BUT today Viking failed me. I ordered the Finger Steak dinner which is normally very good. Tonight is was lacking in product and flavor. There was only 5 Luke warm finger steaks and the French fries were old and cold. For $10 this meal used to be much larger. Makes me sad.
