2.5 out of 5 stars I would give this place right now. The service was on point. Oh server Mike G was definitely trained in upscale dining service. The food was just ok. We went here because my mom was craving paella. Though she did not order it because she said it was created with different proteins than she is use to seeing in a typical paella dish, my fiance ordered it. I tasted her. It was dry, the prawns were over cooked, and it lacked a ton of flavor. All the reviews were pointing out how good the paella is. It had three small shrimp/prawns, three small mussels and clams and was just ok. My mom’s gulf shrimp and crab with linguini needed a lot of help. There was hardly any crab on her plate. This dish was also very dry and lacked flavor. My short rib dish was tasty but fattier than you see it at may other places. My creme brulee needed to sit a bit longer or something because it was soup and not custard. This place tried hard, the atmosphere is nice. The presentation of the dishes was very professional. It’s very expensive for ambler and for the amount of food you get. I’m not sure if we were here on an off night. It was a Sunday evening, early reservation and not too many tables seated. Not sure if we will be back, but I hope it gets better because you can clearly see potential.

Ambler offers a great mix of restaurants but I recommend dinning at Vida & Comida. Aside from the amazing food, the staff is friendly and although the restaurant is small, you do not feel like you are sitting on top of each other. The live music is a nice touch while you enjoy your dinner.

We actually intended on visiting a restaurant down the way. After realizing our mistake we decided to stay and enjoy some dinner, even if we were bit under dressed. Quite possible one of the best dining experience and best meal we have ever had. Hats off the chef, hostess and dining staff for creating such an amazing environment. If you have the chance stop in here and order the 5 course chefs meal. You will not be disappointed.

Great place. Spanish food. Limited menu because everything is fresh made. Really taste paella. The appetizers are various and you could complete your dinner only choosing these. The place is BYOB and what more? Really recommended. The prices are rated $$$/$$$$

Waiter was rude to us, we expected more from him because he was introduced to us as the owners son. We asked if they could pull out a heater for us because it was cold outside and he said not a chance, I don’t know why you are eating outside if you are cold. We weren’t gonna let his attitude ruin our dinning experience so we ordered our meals and he said he would be out with bread which he never brought out. We also had to ask twice for ice bucket for our champagne. Our salads were good, but the salmon was soooooo salty. Staff seemed annoyed and was miserable, will not be returning. We told our family and friends not to go here.

Parking was easy, and the restaurant is cozy. The staff is great. Cindy (one of the owners) came over and we had a nice chat. We talked about Spain and the different cities we enjoyed. My girlfriend is from Colombia and enjoyed speaking Spanish with Cindy. And of course, dinner was fantastic. We tried the paella and the seafood linguine with vodka sauce… omg, out of this world great! The appetizers were terrific too. We tried the shrimp sauteed in garlic and the ham, with tomato on bread, and it was wonderful. Even the ice cream is home made! Highly recommended, authentic and romantic place for the evening. We can’t wait to go back. AAAAA+++++

Great new restaurant addition to Ambler area. Went there for lunch and it was awesome. BYOB. We started with special gazpacho and I had the special shrimp/pappardelle and my friend had the seared tuna… ’twas excellent all around. The limoncello dessert that we split was refreshing. I will definitely be back.
