If you want great carne asada burrito or rolled taquitos like they make back in San Diego, this is your place. No one else in the Columbus area does it like Victors. Try these two items and you’ll be a regular here or their other location in Delaware I’ve been going to before.

I was really excited to try this place. What a let down. I ordered taquitos, a tamale and the Carne asada papa fries. Tamale had the husk all through it. I had to take it apart just to eat half. The other half was rock hard. The taquitos are bland. Really bland. Covered in a runny “guacamole” that seemed more like mashed up avocado and water. Finally the fries. I got those for my wife, because she has an onion allergy. No where in the description is onions or Pico mentioned. The entire thing is covered in Pico. All items need to be listed on the menu, not just a few.

We really liked this restaurant.The taquitos were delicious and tender, not tough or dry like many other restaurants. The chimichanga was large and not overly fried. We also enjoyed the adobada and carnitas soft tacos. The adobada was my favorite of the two. Lots of good flavor in the meat. The chips and salsa were generous. I would say that the salsa and guacamole left me wanting a bit more flavor. The staff were nice and efficient! Good prices too.

Nestled within a marathon gas station in a more affluent suburb of Columbus lies this location of Victor’s tacos. Victors is the closest I have found in the area to any of the “Bertos” family of restaurants in Arizona and Southern California. Victor’s really hits the spot when I need a piece of home (AZ). The food at this location was delicious. I had a Arizona burrito and an adobada burrito. Both were quite large but I was very hungry. The diced pork in the adobada burrito was marinated perfectly along with the cool cabbage and pico de gallo and delicious guacamole it made for one scrumptious treat. The Arizona had carne asada, potatoes, pico de gallo, and cheese. My wife got a five rolled tacos with cheese and guacamole and a chorizo breakfast burrito. Both were legit. The kids got cheese quesadillas though neither of them finished. The only downside to this location is it’s not close enough to where I live, but I’m sure that’s a positive for my waistline.
