The only thing I regret is not coming before to this place. Definitely is one of the best brunch places in Laredo. The food was extremely good, the presentation and everything was on point. To drink we got the Lavanda Latte which was a bit sweet but it was very good, you can taste slightly the Lavanda flavor which is a very original combination, also we ordered a plain Café Americano which was pretty good as well. To eat, we got the Chilaquiles Veracruzanos (which comes with beans and sour cream on top) and can be with any sauce of your choice, we decided to give a try for the Bravos ones which we were told they were very spicy, however it was not as spicy as I’d expect, nonetheless it was just a perfect spot where you taste the spiciness but in a very very enjoyable way, on top of the Chilaquiles we got some Chicharrón Prensado which comes with a very delicious tomato sauce, we simply loved, I’d say these are the best chilaquiles I’ve ever tried in Laredo. Additionally we got the Rosemary Salmon avocado toast, it was very good as well, the fact that they put rosemary on the bread itself, makes it very tasty and original. As dessert we got the Mostacho with Cajeta and Nuts, it was also delicious. Definitely we are coming back to try out the rest of the menu. The staff is very attentive, the service is fast and the atmosphere is perfect for the family, for a date or to hang out with some friends.

First time in Vica’s and honestly is a must go! It’s the cutest little spot with amazing food. The food is to die for. IT WAS FIRE!! Shout out to Omar for the amazing service and will definitely be back again. They made us feel welcomed and gave us an amazing experience!

Had breakfast earlier today. It was completely scrumptious! It was tomato toast on rosemary bread and dressed with an egg and a side of potatoes. The food was excellent and there was live music that added ambiance to the quaint little spot. Service was great as all staff were attentive and friendly. Couldn’t ask for more. Nothing like this in Houston! Everyone should visit this gem!

I have to say that this is a case where the food is great but the service os just horrible. The owners are very rude , they make you feel like if you are a burden . They make faces for everything. The food is good but because of the horrible service I think I will be ordering to go from now on . The lady at the register just isn’t a people person and HAS NO BUSINESS working in the service industry

My first thought when I walked in was, holy cow, this place is tiny and packed! I felt so Claustrophobic! It was my first time there, and I wanted to try their food. We decided to stay, so we went to sit outside while we waited for a table to open up. They do need to change the outside tables because they’re super flimsy. They told us our wait would be approximately 30 mins, but we waited for about 15 mins which was great because I was starving. The food was delicious, and the servers, despite their young age and experience, were very attentive. I would eat there again but would go on slower days of business. Anyways, As I sat at one of the end tables of the restaurant, I was able to see the people’s facial expressions as they came into the restaurant. Some people had surprised faces when they saw how small and packed the restaurant was, and others, like those from the upper class, had a look of Discuss due to the type of people eating there and how small and packed it was. I love people-watch, lol. I hope the business takes off and the owner gets a more prominent place! But the wait is worth the wait! I’m giving it a 4 star instead of a 5 star due To the Atmosphere.
