The vibes were immaculate in all aspects. Hands down some of the best vegan food I’ve ever experienced (and I’m vegan). The coffee is amazing boots the house down (try the coconut rose latte). Also had the Big Hawaiian burger and it was the best burger I’ve ever had! The staff was also super friendly and we really enjoyed our multiple trips to Vibe while visiting. A must go-to on Big Island!

The interior of the place was amazing. It took us around 20 min to place an order. It’s way long even for Big Island where everything slower than Oahu.

Super cute space and friendly staff. Wide variety of unique options on the menu, and a great selection of hard kombucha. I’ve never seen these flavors anywhere else!

Totally struck out here! When planning my visit to Hawaii I flagged Vibe Cafe as a spot to visit to try their vegan loco moco. When we arrived for dinner the first night we saw they are sold out of a bunch of items! Including their loco moco – we didn’t return the next morning because of this. They are apparently working on changing their menu items in the very near future. The menu online is not updated but the online ordering one is. Unfortunately everything we had our eyes (and stomachs) set on was on the sold out list. I ended up deciding on the strawberry seitan gorgonzola salad which despite not being sold out they were out of seitan! So again I settled on the beet poke bowl to try something unique and different. Some flavors I liked, some I didn’t like, so it made a meh meal for my taste buds. My husband got the Big Nasty – it came with a side of potato chips, not enough bbq sauce (no worries, they gave us extra), and very strange faux bacon that felt filmy and I couldn’t bite through it when I tried a bit. Our friend got the jackfruit nachos – loaded plate, he wasn’t too impressed overall but the cashew queso is on point.

So the place is super cute! Great atmosphere and efficient fast service. But here’s the thing, my husband and I order vegan nachos and vegan waffles. The waffle tasted good but the serving size was really small for the price. And the nachos.. well they look beautiful, and it’s a good portion size, definitely enough for two people.. the flavors were good, but the thing is.. it’s served COLD! I’ve never have cold nachos, not room temp, cold. It was kinda weird and not really my vibe. Pun intended lol, but I would say give this place a try, you might find something you really like. But I don’t personally recommend the nachos.
