This is by far the best take on traditional Mexican food with a twist to it that I have experienced. From accommodations for a late night dinner, we came in 30 minutes before closing and did not feel rushed one bit. Very elegant service, atmosphere has a modern almost bohemian style to it. The food is what brings everything together. Talk about creativity. You are literally receiving art pieces to eat! The Octopus was by far our favorite. Everything was a 10/10 except for the ceviche..I just am not a big fan of Mahi Mahi Raw. But still everything overall 5 stars. Keep it up guys, great job!

Absolutely phenomenal from start to finish. The drinks were excellent. I had a Maravilloso and a Mal Verde (pictured). The Misses had a pepino margarita that was delicious.

My husband and I went to Viaje last night for the first time to celebrate our anniversary. The food was phenomenal. Every bite was filled with amazing flavors. The customer service was excellent. They made it really special by adding an anniversary greeting to their menu for us. I highly recommend this place. Can’t wait to go back!

Phenomenal dinner. The octopus starter was perfection. Wonderful staff, all the food was great. Other reviews had said expensive and small portions and I really don’t get it. Mains were $22-80 ish, with prob half around or under $30. For this level of quality, execution and taste, I found this extremely reasonable. And the portions were ridiculous. We only finished our mains out of sheer determination and didn’t get through even half the fresh tortillas. Will return at the earliest opportunity. Thank you to the random girl in the leopard print coat who recommended this place on the sidewalk outside!!

Food here is absolutely outstanding! Honestly was pretty surprised of the quality of both food and service for Long Beach (even Belmont Shore) area. While we liked everything we tried, I’d say their ceviche and tuna tostada were by far the highlights. Also really enjoyed the octopus, and the blueberry margarita was delicious too. 20/10 – absolutely recommend!!

We ordered 4 appetizers and 2 drinks. The food was delicious and the drinks were yummy. The atmosphere was great, we sat outside on the patio and the weather was great. The service was great and although I ordered a drink and didn’t like it because it was too strong for me, the manager brought me another one after he took the time to ask me what kind of flavors I liked and when he did it was delicious.

My husband and I went here for dinner and we’re impressed by all accounts! It reminded us of fine dining in Mexico. The food was flavorful with authentic taste. The atmosphere was inviting and chic. They had a great selection of wines, including wines from Valle the Guadalupe (the Napa of Mexico). The service was also outstanding. Can’t wait to go back!

This is a high end restaurant where the quality and innovation of the menu, the energetic atmosphere, and attentive service are well worth the price. The filet mignon in the Tlayuda de Carne was some of the best steak I’ve had in a while – tender, flavorful. Similarly for the pork in the Cochinita Pibil and the branzino in the Pescado Zarandeado. Above and beyond flavor, the presentation leaves you feeling like you’re eating something unique and carefully crafted. The Esfera de Chocolate made me love chocolate all over again. The atmosphere is vivacious to say the least. If there is a downside, I would say it gets quite loud inside at the height of the dinner hour. Enough that it can be difficult to keep a conversation across a table. The service was top notch and my water was always full – a simple but representative indicator of how much attention I perceive I’m receiving.

High end flavorful Mexican cuisine. (Oaxaca inspired). The taste was delicious, ambiance good. Appetizer portion size is small and cost is high: a leg of pulpo = $24. Two shrimps= $$ The drinks could be improved. Paloma tequila tasted like gasoline, I was too shy to send back. Didn’t realize this place was new and I didn’t see many pics available to help select entrees. Overall very clean and would recommend.
