A spectacular addition to the area. The food and service was excellent, but what stood out were the plethora of delicious kombucha options and the cocktail menu created with them. Every kombucha was extremely pleasant to drink and new or experienced kombucha drinker will enjoy them all. The atmosphere was modern and inviting with a large communal table in the middle meant to encourage meeting new people!

Went there today – my first experience with Kombucha so I have nothing to compare the tea quality to. They had eight flavors to select from for a four-glass flight. All flavors were interesting, none that I wouldn’t get again but none that I’d want a full glass of either. Was a nice crowd there – service was a bit slow but not objectionable. Fries were great – used Old Bay seasoning on them. Had the weekly special donut burger. Tasty but can’t say the donut was any better than a bun. Good place if you are looking for something a bit different, but I’d still prefer a brewery with a flight of beer.

This is a real bright spot in Waterloo. There is something for everyone here, whether it is a sit down meal, a beer, or obviously the best Kombucha in Iowa. The cocktails are dangerously great as well, all with top notch service. Way to go, Verve!

I got takeout. The food was ready and fresh in less than 15 minutes. I had the asparagus salad and the mushroom risotto. They were both full of flavor and quite delicious! I can’t wait to go back! I even tried a couple of their brewed on-site kombuchas. The staff was so friendly and inviting.

Absolutely delicious. Great atmosphere. I’m not one to branch out on trying new food but glad I did! If you want to try something new, they have such a unique menu and this is the place to go to try new food! Waiters are extremely courteous and helpful. 10 stars! We live 2 hours away, and I would definitely make the drive back just for the food!

Easily one of the best dining experiences in Black Hawk County. Casual, but cool, modern / industrial feel with incredible food, drinks and of course kombucha. The menu is seasonal and rotates often, which is a total pro and a con. Pro, you get to try lots of delicious things, con, you’ll get attached to a certain plate and come back for it and it might be gone, so it’s best to just go often so you don’t miss out. Recently had a tuna meal with sweet potato “pancakes” and it was unbelievable. Really enjoy my time there!

You and your staff deserve every bit of happiness. I didn’t know what I was expecting flavor wise, but it’s, for certain, the best taste I’ve had in years from a restaurant. I didn’t know I was craving a Hercules Burger until I had it. Thank you for the wonderful food!
