Third time here. It’s become my wife’s fav birthday place. Parking was weird this time because you used to be able to park in the back because street parking so limited but now it’s all valet parking. The attendant was very nice about it. We were promptly seated to find a bucket with champagne waiting for us. It was a surprise from our son and daughter-in-law. Sue C was an excellent server and made our dinner so much more pleasant. Food was exceptional as always although I wish they had a little more extensive menu. I understand it’s better to have fewer great options than a large number that is more difficult to offer. Piece of cake with candle was a very nice touch. Great place.

I have been to Veronica’s twice and both times it delivers on every step of the dining experience. Most importantly every dish we have gotten has delivered on taste and execution. A surprise favorite of mine is the skirt steak with Mexican inspiration and bold flavors, Yum! Also this place has made me rethink my hesitation to oysters. The oysters are so clean and fresh that they are a must have every time I go. Combine the tastiness of the food with such an enjoyable vibe& interior you got a restaurant that is on top of my list in Sarasota.

Such a fun spot! I was with three girlfriends and we sat inside at a corner window table. Sue was our (fabulous!) server. The cocktails were good. The wine list has plenty of good selections. I had the avocado crab appetizer and it was fabulous! For dinner I had the special which was halibut served alongside the most interesting and delicious salad; arugula, cilantro, mint and lump crab. This might have been my favorite thing!!!! I loved the vibe and fun decor. I can’t wait to go back!

We loved Veronica! My wife and I celebrated our anniversary there and would recommend this place to anyone. Very friendly & genuine staff. I got the burger (Best burger I have ever had) and my wife got the catch of the day. I recommend their key lime pie as well!!

Fabulous dinner & service at Veronica Fish & Oyster on Wednesday. It was even better because I had actually left another restaurant that apparently thought they couldn’t be bothered to serve a person eating alone. The other place seated me, took my drink order but never returned. The server passed by me several times helping the other tables & literally ignored me. I sat there for 20 minutes. There is no excuse for that type of behavior. In comparison, I was asked several times at Veronica how I was doing, did I need anything, etc. Timing of everything was perfect!! I definitely recommend this place! It was a very pleasant experience!
