First time here. I liked the decor and the food was really good. The homemade chips were my favorite. The rest of the family had pulled pork, chicken wings, hamburger all rated as good.

Went there for dinner. Hostess was very friendly. Waitress was very attentive and pleasant. Wife ordered the blackened chicken and I ordered the southern fried chicken and we both upgraded to fries. Wife said her sandwich was very good. Mine was very tasty. My only comment is that the new chicken sandwich come with pickles and sauce. I would like lto on my chicken sandwich but thats my preference. Overall nice new addition to Wilson.

If you’re visiting and using Google to help you decide where to eat, just stop looking now and go to Vern’s! We visited Wilson, NY from Kansas for a few days in late May and wanted to support local restaurants while we were there. While there are many are other restaurants in Wilson and the surrounding small towns, Vern’s was hands down the BEST! We ate there 2 of the 4 nights we stayed and the only reason it wasn’t all 4 is because we didn’t visit the first time until our second to last night there. I wish I would have taken pictures but the the food was too delicious so by the time I thought of taking a picture it was already gone! The cheese curds are AMAZING!! The ribs were so tender and flavorful. Everything we tried was just delicious! I’m just sad we live so far away and can’t go back to Vern’s on a regular basis! The staff was so friendly as well. The waiter took time to visit with us and we even got to meet the owner who was very sweet. Just go to Vern’s!

Taco Tuesday did not disappoint! Couldn’t have been more satisfied with our meals tonight. Steamed clams were absolutely wonderful! Shrimp tacos were divine and the pork tacos were simply amazing. Both the indoor and outdoor atmosphere was so relaxing that we lost track of time and stayed far longer than we’d originally planned. What an enjoyable evening with amazing food. Can’t wait to go back!

Have had breakfast eat in and did a take out dinner, none of which I would write home about. Music is too loud, food is, well if you are ok with no flavor, over cooked and some under cooked. There are many people who say it’s good, but the 2 times my husband I tried it, was very unsatisfactory. Though, I do believe that everyone should try it for themselves and make their own judgment. The service was, when eating in, was satisfactory and the people are very hospitable, inviting and cheerful. I say give it a try, they are new and everyone deserves a chance. May try it again and try the things others have said ARE good. My opinion is just that, my opinion.

Wonderful staff. Great new place in Wilson. The house chips are amazing! Really enjoyed my pulled pork sandwich. Others at my table raved about the Guinness stew. Worth a visit!!

Best sweet potatoes we’ve ever had, especially with the maple syrup aoli! We also had brisket, mac and cheese, and the Guiness stew, all of which were fantastic! Cider and beer were great additions. And great service!
