Beautiful restaurant with great food and great service. We were able to walk in and sit at the bar for dinner on a friday night with no wait. The purified long island ice tea was very good. The food came out with excellent timing. We never felt rushed, nor did it take long for the next dish to come out.

Really delicious food and the fish is extremely fresh. The tuna reminded me of the tuna poke in Hawaii. All of the crudo is excellent and the flavors go well together.

Everything about dinner was wonderful! The cocktail was interesting and very good. The oysters were cleaned well and we’re plump. All of the food was unique and delicious. The entire experience was fun and I can’t wait to go back!

Came Friday night 7pm and got seats at the bar. Bartenders super friendly and attentive. Welcome atmosphere. Everything is super simple yet tasty. Fresh fish.

The Vernick restaurants are unique in that the food is always clean – you won’t leave with an oily aftertaste or need to unbutton your pants, if you behave. Vernick Fish, I think, is the best in the group, and the August menu was no exception. We started with the endive salad, which has been on the menu since the restaurant’s inception. I preferred when it was in a bowl, but it was as delicious as ever with a tarragon dressing that makes all others second rate.

Lives up to the hype. The oysters are fresh and encompass a wide range of preferences. Endive salad and crudo were scrumptious and meets expectations with how they’re described. The scallops are nice but definitely skippable.

Went for my husband’s birthday. The food was truly delicious- absolutely everything we ordered. However, the service was really terrible for this caliber restaurant. Our waitresses never really introduced herself, did not go through the specials, and was very inattentive. We luckily were sitting up at the counter so we saw some of the specials and had to ask her what they were and order that way. She seemed to not know much about the menu and not have a lot of help with descriptions. All in all we had a great night and I’d love to go back for the small bites!

Wanted to visit Vernick Fish for a long time. Everything was amazing. Highly recommend crab pasta and octopus. Our waiter was knowledgeable and attentive. Can’t wait to be back!
