My family had an amazing experience at Vermilion. I took my mother and nephew for Mother’s Day. From the time we were greeted to the time we left we were truly taken care of. All of the service staff went above and beyond to make sure she had a memorable dinner. The menu was thoroughly explained and the wine was selected with care. The food is fresh and locally sourced. The staff and knowledgeable and friendly. Our server Juliette did a phenomenal job. She was warm and attentive. I definitely intended on coming back.

Delicious dinner. We had the pan con tomate and the fish crudo as starters. I had the duck and my husband had the prime rib as mains. It’s the best duck I’ve ever had. I had a chocolate dessert and my husband had the cheesecake. Everything was delicious, it’s a wonderful atmosphere and our server was fantastic. It’s a bit expensive, but definitely worth it for a nice night out.

Celebrated a friends birthday here last night. We were served complimentary champagne as soon as we sat down. Ordered the fried chicken and milk bread snacks, risotto small dish, ravette steak main, fingerling potatoes and Brussel sprouts, with a chocolate mousse-like dessert. Everything was absolutely incredible. One of the best meals I’ve ever had! We sat right by the window downstairs and enjoyed people watching. The waitstaff was friendly and attentive. An all-around amazing experience!

Friendly service with delightful cuisine. The staff was incredibly accommodating. We showed up just before dinner service and decided to leave and come back. The manager and host were very kind and patient with us. I will say it’s definitely geared towards adults and older kids. Don’t expect to find a kids’ menu (which wasn’t a problem for us at all). Take it as an opportunity to expand your kiddos’ tastes. My husband got the duck, which was absolutely delicious. My son and I got the Mahi Mahi also very tasty but could have used a little more brightness. The polenta, octopus, cocktails, and milk bread with butter apps were delicious. We would absolutely come again when we’re back in the area.

If you’re looking for a nice spot to eat and perfect atmosphere, this is it! You will spend a lot of money on Food that can be easily made in your own kitchen, but that wouldn’t be fun! The service was superb, and not once did they let my water go empty. Oh, get that Bread, that’s worth it. And when you’re done head over to Jeni’s Ice Cream for dessert, and if you need a drink head down to Murphys. Follow me for more….

Happy hour menu and cocktails make this restaurant amazing. However, the dinner menu leaves much to be desired. The dinner menu is expensive for what was served. On King Street there are so many other options that are amazing making this place not the best. Do not get the prawns small plate option. They provide two prawns that were very poorly cooked. Cocktails are great and atmosphere. Gorgeous bar area.

We went for the first time since they reopened. They have a new head chef. I have to admit, we were sceptical because this was one of our favorite restaurants pre-pandemic and we were concerned with the changes and how they may affect the quality that we had known to come and love.
