I absolutely love this place – hands down the best Louisiana-style shrimp I’ve ever had! My personal favorite is their Captains Special, which features 3 pounds of perfectly cooked shrimp, sausage, quail eggs, potatoes, and corn, all drenched in a mouth-watering medium sauce. Be warned, though: their spicy sauce is not for the faint of heart – it’s seriously hot (and I’m Mexican, so I know my spices)!

Used to love shell out in Malaysia…most of the other restaurants in California only serve boiled crab with accompanying sauces…but here it equals to a gravy kind of curry, even though all are boiled too. Very nice…crab was a bit salty but gravy of crab and spice was so good. Clams and shrimp was tasty and calamari would have tasted better if straight from wok to plate…since we took away it became a boy soggy, but taste was awesome and loved their service to.go

We were enticed here from Facebook with BOGO ad, got here quarter to closing on Sun evening and was told that they only accepted takeout order at that time. Explained that we were only there because of the BOGO and it specifically said that dine-in is required. After checking with the manager, they OK-ed for us to dine in. We ordered just a pound of peeled shrimp each to make it a quick and painless experience for all parties involved. We’ve been here one time years ago and remembered their house sauce was pretty good and that’s what we went with.

I’ve been here twice, and my food was just warm. Other places make shrimps pound and sides very hot. What’s the point eating there if the food is not gonna be hot. I wouldn’t go back here.

SO SO GOOD!

The cream de la creme for Thai iced tea with (surprise!) free refill if you ask. Not the best seafood and the very worst Galveston Bay oysters that were flat, lifeless, and should not be an option. Cute place, great servers, but the menu needs to be expanded or tweaked to give a reason to come back.

Don’t know if we were spoiled by Orang County seafood/order by a pound places but this restaurant was a let down. We checked this place out based on the good reviews on Google when we did a little trip to Ventura/Oxnard. Ordered the fried calamari, cajun fries, 2 lbs of crawfish (garlic butter and special sauce), claim chowder, cajun pasta, and garlic noodles. All of them were really salty. The fried calamari was super dried and it’s like over burnt popcorns. The crawfish was small and you can clearly see it’s frozen. The only good thing was the cajun fries but they can’t save the day for us. The prices were a little cheaper than other similar restaurants in OC.

I wanted to order over the phone but no one answered so I drove to the location anyways just so I can try them out. It was a 15-minute wait. While waiting, there were two females handling the front which included seating customers, taking-getting-closing orders, serving us, and making sure we are satisfied. While waiting I did get a bit impatient because I was ready to go but I was also paying attention to how busy they were.

The food was incredible! Absolutely delicious . It took a while to get seated. The service was pretty good but left some things to be desired. But all and all, a fantastic place. I’ll gladly go back!
