creative menu and sampling the different tacos was a good experience. tator tots were excellent also. small seating capacity, makes it tough to find a seat on a hot day. not sure how they expect you to eat with the sporks they provide that are too small for a child to handle? wish they had real silverware or plastic forks available.

Velvet Taco is a really great expanding chain restaurant! They have the standard unique fusion taco options, and I would highly recommend the paneer Tikka taco and the Nashville hot taco. There are good vegetarian options, but also a great selection of meat options as well. The red velvet cake is a must try, however it is way too sweet if you drizzle the caramel sauce on top.

So glad and have to a Velvet taco in our neck of the woods now! It was super yummy! I’ve been to the one in Dallas and that was a super cute location. This one in The colony too is very well done. Food is great, friendly staff, it’s clean and the extra outdoor seating is a plus too! This is going to be our regular spot from now on. Love everything in their menu and their drink & dessert. I love their sweet chili shrimp taco! It’s so flavorful and it has a nice kick of spiciness! Absolutely recommend… But a lot of the taco are yummy! The Mediterranean mushroom taco is another favorite. Hubby likes grilled flank steak taco and the brisket one as well

I visited Velvet Taco with my friends on a bustling Monday evening, immersing ourselves in the lively ambiance. The service was prompt; our order of chips and queso arrived soon after payment. We savored the top-notch beer-battered cauliflower, delicious paneer tikka, and delightfully spicy chicken tikka. While the new Mediterranean mushroom dish was decent, it was the brisket and cheesy potatoes that truly shone, alongside the sublime shrimp-based taco. A pleasant surprise was the new menu item – a unique combination of pineapple with guacamole, which proved to be unexpectedly delightful. If you’re a taco enthusiast, Velvet Taco is an essential destination.

Love, love, LOVE Velvet taco! This was the first visit to this location for my husband and I and they did not let us down! It was busy and we were able to order quickly. The margaritas were strong and tasty! The tacos and tots came out hot and were absolutely delicious!!! I can’t wait to come back!

Incredible array of tacos! You probably need 2 to 3 per person. The beer battered cauliflower was super tasty, the fried tofu was a little bit oily but delicious. The tacos are so creative and flavour some! The spicy chicken tikka taco was actually very spicy but delicious. We love it here.

Listen people!! Listen very well! Velvet Taco is the best Taco place hands down!! NO it’s not your traditional taco spot! But be happy it’s not traditional bc these unique gourmet tacos will leave you all fuzzy inside!! I initially loved the buffalo chicken taco.. spicy with a hint of blue cheese!! But this time I opted out for something new.. I got the Kobe Cheeseburger taco on flour and the grilled salmon!! The Kobe burger is full of flavor and it’s soooo delicious just like one of the best hamburgers you have ever had just in a taco! Now my favorite of them both the grilled salmon, so much flavor it’s spicy, it’s juicy, the cream sauce, the veggies my gooooodness! Now I could eat the taco without adding a frozen margarita that’s well blended, smooth and very good!! Check out the menu before going bc they have an extensive menu and daily/weekly taco introductions!!

Been to a lot of velvet tacos, this was my first time at this location. Seating was sparse. The outdoor patio would have been nice but the blinds they had apparently didn’t work. The loaded tots weren’t loaded unfortunately. That’s all I get there so that was a bummer. Great location.
