I’m not from the area and yelp brought me in. All I wanted was VEGETARIAN LETTUCE WRAP cups, as I loved them from a Chinese vegan restaurant up in SF called “Enjoy Restaurant.” I get here and ask for them (they they are listed on their dinner menu online (#103)) and the guy says they stopped offering them. Grr. I told him i specifically came in for them. Blank stare. I got the broccoli and rice instead (they charge $2 extra for rice), and it was okay. The broccoli was fresh but could have been cooked more, and the sietan was flavorful. Wish there was more sauce and wish they had offered red pepper flakes or soy sauce to go with. $19 total for a small plate and a side of rice. It was okay but wish they had lettuce cups.

Friendly service, no frills settings, reasonable prices. The wonton soup was tasteless, kung pao chicken was way too salty, crispy chicken was great. Also had veggie fried rice, it was ok but really small portion.

This is one of our favorite vegan places to eat. We live in Phoenix and fly over to the area often with a day of shopping planned around having lunch here first! The food is perfectly seasoned and always delicious. My favorite is the little vegan chicken drumsticks! YUM! We have both tried several of the entrees and are never disappointed.

As a vegan I would definitely recommend trying this place, the food was delicious and the lady taking our order was helpful. The only flaw is that the wait times are extremely long so definitely try this place on a day off! the orange chicken is an absolute staple!

09/09/2022: Stopped into Vegi-Wokery today for a quick bite to eat. I hadn’t been here in a while and I was excited about eating some good vegan grub. As I walked in and started to approach the lady sitting at the counter, I could see right away that she was not welcoming or friendly. I was the only one in the restaurant at the time but this lady acted like she couldn’t be bothered as she rudely passed me a menu to seat myself. I don’t mind a “seat your self” type of seating, however, it was the rude attitude attached with it. I kindly declined seating myself and decided that if Vegi Wokery cannot be welcoming to their guest(s), I will not patronage their business ever again. The new owners are horrible. This place is not what it used to be now. Most of the positive reviews are for the previous owner. Do yourself a favor and go eat somewhere where you feel welcomed.
