We visited this place with a group of friends. The waiting time for outdoor seating was 15 minutes, so we decided to stay indoors. The standout highlight was the vegan nachos. They were absolutely delicious, and the portions were generous, considering the price. Gyro was also quite good, and Chick n Waffles was alright! Rose Sangria was a disappointment. It felt like I was drinking water due to the excessive ice. Services and food were great, but one thing that put me off was an automatic additional charge on the bill for the kitchen staff, which I found quite ridiculous! Isn’t it expected for the restaurant to provide fair wages to their employees? It seems unreasonable for customers to be responsible for covering kitchen staff expenses along with the mandatory minimum 18% service tipping. It’s truly astonishing!

This was one of the best vegetarian/vegan food experiences of my life. It depresses me that I don’t live close enough to eat there more. The fact that I can eat my favorite things again like Reuben sandwiches, buffalo chicken tenders, and poutine without the meat, is to die for. My boyfriend and his son are meat lovers and they went crazy for the food too. Do yourself a favor and eat there!

Veggie galaxy is the best! An old style diner atmosphere with great food! Everything is either vegan or can be made vegan. Some of my favorites are the buffalo chicken Mac and cheese, the mozzarella sticks, the onion rings- and the pastries are to die for. If you go on the weekend you can get donuts but there is always an assortment of fresh cakes and pies. It is an hour commute for me but definitely worth it. It is my favorite place to eat when I go to Boston.

We love coming here! The staff are super friendly and the atmosphere is a fun 50s diner. Their regular menu items like the Big Mac Mac and cheese are great! We usually get the Blue Plate special as well and it’s always delicious!

We had an overall good experience here at Veggie Galaxy. Awesome menu, very cool that there is a vegan option for everything. Overwhelming menu but definitely had us coming back for more. We got the brussel sprouts appetizer. Yum yum yum. The biscuits and gravy were good not great. The biscuits felt super heavy and I wish the gravy had a little more flavor. Vegan Mac and cheese bites were awesome on the outside a little flavorless on the inside. Regular eggs, toast and home fries were delicious. This was consistent on two visits. We also tried the chkn and waffles. I’m not vegan so the chkn was just not the same texture but the waffle was light and airy and delicious. The service here was great, little to no wait and definitely a family friendly establishment. There is indoor and outdoor seating available.

I’ll start off by saying that the food, interior and concept of Veggie Galaxy is phenomenal! My only hesitation with going back is the maître d’ who was a bit rude. He wouldn’t sit me down unless the rest of my party (one person) was there which I fully understand – I did specify I didn’t need any service I just wanted to sit until my husband arrived. I however was 7 months pregnant at the time and really wanted to sit down. He just wouldn’t let me! The waitresses/waiters were all very friendly nonetheless. Tater tots were delicious and I really enjoyed the Boston Cream Pie! I would probably still go back 🙂
