Great Greek food. We took appetizers for the table that were big! Grape leaves, calamari, salad and fried zucchini and eggplant and a large meat platter for 5! Only best recommendations. Wine shop is across the street you can bring your own alcohol!

Great little gem in Teaneck with amazing food and service. Everything here was delicious but my personal recommendations would go to the breads and the lamb chops. The lamb chops are very tender and cooked to perfection with the right amount of seasoning so that you can taste the lamb yet it is not overpowering. The food arrived really fast upon order and service was warm and corteous.

We had an early reservation at Vasili’s on a Thursday. We were the only ones on the patio by the river for at least an hour. Our waiter Darwin had a wonderful charisma. He made us custom drinks – a mezcal old fashioned for me and a very fruity mocktail for my companion, which we both enjoyed. The portion sizes for the appetizers are very good so beware you don’t get full on those! We had the mussels, Vasili’s chips, and a trio of dips – our favorite part of the meal. For the main we had the whole sea bass and octopus, both good as well. For dessert we had the banana napoleon, which was very decadent.

The food is delicious/fresh, and the service is real amiable. Good portions and really nice ambiance also. The only unfortunate concept is that if you are paying with a debit card you need to pay a service fee, even if my bill was $60+.

Look at the size of those shrimp! The special came with a side of spinach and lemon potatoes. Absolutely delicious with excellent service. Our dinner group enjoyed our dinners and we were not rushed. Thanks, Vasili’s!

Terrible place terrible waitress. The waitress is just incompetent as you enter the restaurant the tables were not clean. You can’t even get your drink for another 18 minutes. The food was lousy all around and then at the end when you want your check she’s just talking for 35 minutes why two people are waiting to close up their bill. I think it’s time for you to get another job somewhere else and maybe teach the chef how to make to make better food.

Just had a delicious meal at Vasili’s. Definitely one of the best Greek meals I’ve had in the area. Food tastes homemade and (cliche alert) like it was made with love. Huge portions and everything was great, especially the tzatziki, the chicken and pork souvlaki, and even the grilled vegetables (which were surprisingly delicious). Also really appreciated the complimentary hummus and bread/pita basket. Service was fast and our waitress Jenna was very nice! Will definitely be back!

We found Vasili’s tavern by accident, and wow, what a find! I had the salmon with spinach and roasted potatoes, and it was delicious. Wonderful service and a very pleasant family atmosphere. Keep up the good work!
