Nice comfort food diner with a decent salad bar. A friend had the patty melt and it looked delicious. Variety’s has become a favorite of our church group. I a pleasantly surprised by how good it was. I can’t wait to try more menu items. French fries are hand cut.

The food was much better than my last visit. The restaurant and restrooms are clean. Staff are friendly and courteous. There seems to be a lot of regulars and the hostess knew them by name. As I’ve always heard, if it’s full of older people, then the food must be good!

The food is okay and prices are decent. The hostess is always extremely rude. We’ve had issues with her before but on our last visit we decided it would be our last. We had two adults and two children. Ordered 1 adult meal, 1 adult ordered the salad bar and both children ordered meals. The hostess made our waitress come over and yell at us because my daughter ate a few pieces of the fruit from the salad bar person’s plate. I would understand if we had not purchased a meal for every person in our party. We were not trying to steal from the salad bar. The children were simply tasting items from everyone’s plate as children do.

Wow what a great place to go with family for home cooked meals. Every dinner comes with soup and salad bar. Then the dinners huge portions and are absolutely delicious. The servers are friendly and go beyond to make your time here enjoyable. I highly recommend this family oriented restaurant.

Variety’s in north canton is great place to eat. They are very accommodating and they serve great food for great prices! I would highly recommend, with the new year already hear we decided to redesign hoping the customers have a great time and enjoy their experience so if your in the north canton area you should definitely check it out!!

Food was decent but the portion was pathetic my piece of cod was as small as one of my shrimp.

First off, the staff was super friendly and attentive to all needs. Never had to ask for anything, it was all brought to the table with the food/drinks. The portions were more than adiquite. The only think I can say is that the food was a bit bland. Even my youngest asked for salt and they never do. Other than that, I enjoyed this place.

Do NOT get the Swiss Steak. It is undercooked with nasty CHICKEN gravy. No onions or veggies. They need to look up an actual Swiss Steak recipe. Atmosphere and service good. They allow only one trip to the salad bar with entree. Naturally, customers will pile their plate. If you cannot eat your entire plate of salad, you are NOT allowed to have a styrofoam box to take it home. They literally throw your leftover salad away. So, the restaurant does appear chinzy or like cheapo… Side dish portions are teeny tiny. Won’t complain about the Swiss steak portion.

Salad bar is probably the best part of the meal here. Got the Swiss steak special. Mashed potatoes and gravy were pretty good. Swiss steak when I’ve had it was usually fairly similar to this but lacked seasoning and the slice of swiss…hence the name…on it. Wife’s country fried steak was much better. Kids spaghetti was awful. Not really spaghetti noodles, watery, greasy, and meatball was not impressive. Maybe something different next time.

Great little family style restaurant with a decent salad bar. [Although they could maintain it a bit better].
