WOW…..amazing home cooked food at a reasonable price. Hubby and I went there today for the second time and he got the large chicken fried steak it was the best he has eaten in a long time. I had the fried catfish and it was …delicious..nice thick piece of fish that was flaky and not muddy tasting. Sides were all great as well. Love their coleslaw it’s definitely different than any other I have tried. Give them a try you won’t regret it. Service was a 10+.

This is not a mexican restaurant but it is a grill, so the name is somewhat misleading! Our 1st meal was very good! We went again on 8/23/23 for our 2nd time & were not disappointed! Establishment is very clean. Food’s excellent & servings are ample. Menu’s versatile, many choices. Chicken fried steak is his “best seller” and burgers looked great, peach cobbler was good too!! Owner & his staff, all very nice & we were served quickly. We will be going back!!

No. Vaqueros is not a Mexican Resturaunt. It’s an American Grill with a true American Dream story. Stag is super friendly. Store is very clean. Delightful down home cooking. I had the catfish and it was splendid. Not over breaded like most places and flaky, not soggy. Very pleased and i highly recommend a visit. Oh yes you MUST try the made-when- ordered Banana Pudding.

Really wanted to love this place! Came here because of police happenings recommendation. Was super disapppinte. Biggest complaint was the AC, or lack there of. So miserable to eat a hot meal in the heat of summer in what felt like an 87 degree atmosphere. Even my kids wouldn’t stop complaining about the heat. Second complaint, kids meals didn’t include drinks and were $9 each. For just my two toddlers to eat it was $25. Add two burger entrees and our total was $60. FAR too expensive for the quality of food. Could get a much better meal for that amount of money elsewhere. Sadly we won’t be back.
