Amazing food! Would’ve never known about it if someone hadn’t mentioned it on Facebook. I’ve sent several folks there after finding it and they’ve all loved it!

Fantastic first experience at Vanh Dy’s. The staff is friendly and helpful. Even a waiter serving another table overheard our question and told us about a menu item. We each ordered a lunch entree which is served with a spring roll and house soup, and is plenty large portion size. We’ll definitely be coming back to try the Pho, Banh Mi burger, Curries, and Phoritto Wrap!

This is a really nice place. They have a great atmosphere and very nice staff. All the food was extremely good. The service was fast and they were very helpful in explaining the menu. This is definitely somewhere you need to check out.

Fun and great time for just hanging out with friends, they have an outdoor seating upstairs also. So either in the piano bar section or outside best time.

Our family and friends love Vanh Dy’s food, atmosphere, and let’s not forget the amazing owners. We are so lucky to have y’all on our square. 21 and up piano bar upstairs, with an open deck…tis the season. See you there #Muletown

It pains me to write a low starred review on one of the few “new” Asian restaurants in downtown Columbia but after two visits I have to be honest in my comments. The first time I went I ordered the curry, as pictured, with the hottest spice as to test them against others I had been to in the past. The dish looks amazing, 5 stars on looks, but then I started to eat and my stars dropped as I took each bite. Bland, bland and more bland. Chicken was dry and absolutely no flavor. I didn’t even know it was possible to have a flavorless curry. I would have even taken a bad flavor or mild but it had none at all. No heat, no salt, nothing to taste. And charging $13 plus bucks floored me. But I know every restaurant has off days or even bad start ups so I gave it another chance. I waited a month and went back and tried the PO soup, I believe. Taste was much better but after eating it I didn’t think it was worth the cost. Nothing wowed me about the dish and nothing there makes me want to spend another $15+ there. I have been to much better just 15 mins away in Spring Hill. I may try this place again in a month or two and I hope they can improve. But for now, I can’t recommend this place compared to others.

I’ve been going here for 2 years, since moving home from another state where my family loved local Vietnamese. It’s not as traditional and more spendy, but we love that we can get Pho and Banh MI in Columbia, I often take friends upstairs for drinks and we love the speakeasy vibe, a nice addition to Columbia.

The food was good. The service was less than. The waitress did not know the food on the menu and wasn’t familiar with Asian food in general. I typically get hot tea (jasmine or green) and asked of they had it. She offered earl grey or lemon. I opted for lemon which she never brought.

We were there for the soft open. The Honey Bear Blonde Ale was good. The service wasn’t wait staff, so it wasn’t, but they tried. The dumplings were tasty. Loved the atmosphere and lighting, although the bike chain chandeliers were a little incongruous. I’ll be back again now that they’re truly open!

I have been to you business numerous times and been to the piano bar and have always enjoyed the experience. However, tonight I placed an order of $100.00 to be delivered by Caviar, only to be told they were out of sticky rice after Caviar had charged. The female manager said they cancelled my order due to being out of rice. How does a popular restaurant run out of rice at 6 pm on a Saturday night??? The manager offered nothing to compensate and said that she looks forward to reading our review. What kind of service is this, I know that I will no longer give you my hard earned money. I’m done.
