This place was a real hole in the wall. Just spent a great week fishing at the Navajo Dam, on the return trip stopped in here on the way back for a quick lunch. Called ahead 15 minutes and they easily fulfilled my order on time. The Stuffed Sopapilla and my friend got the patty melt. Both are incredible! Thank you Val’s!

My husband and I had lunch today. He had a beef chimichanga and I had a beef stuffed sopapilla. My but the food was yummy. We also enjoyed the chips and homemade salsa. I can say that if you leave there hungry you must have a huge appetite!!!

So you are in “the middle of nowhere” in Manassas, Colorado. You are hungry. Val’s Place! Local, clean, wonderful service, good home cooked food and outstanding service. I love their green chili cheeseburger with bacon. Talk about trying to get this in your mouth! I complained ONCE about my burger not being “rare”, they never forgot me. Love “local” and Val’s fits that description if you like what I call, “New Mexico in Colorado”.
