Fix or Fab
Food: Food was very good. Delivered hot and within an appropriate amount of time. Would like to see real cheese on my eggs than a slice of processed cheese but it was still good.

If I choose to drive to or return from work on Highway 67, I end up passing by Valley Country Cafe each trip. I used to take this route more frequently and never noticed their large red sign from the road. This cafe came up in a recent Google search for breakfast in the Quad Cities for me, so I decided to seek them out for a nice Saturday morning meal.

See recent photos of this wonderful establishment’s policy on WAGE THEFT. Hope y’all get the lawsuit you deserve. Places like this shouldn’t be open if you can’t follow labor laws.

I ordered the gyro and frankly it was so full of meat and chunks of feta that I could barely eat it all. Absolutely fantastic. The chicken and rice soup was very flavorful, and the vegetables looked freshly chopped. A very good place for lunch.

Ordered as soon as we sat down. 45 minutes later no food and other tables that were sat after us got served. Ordered the special and a side of fruit. After an hour left with no food

Excellent service, friendly service, the order was correct and the quality of the food was very very good for a breakfast skillet. The wife had an omelet. All the food was served in a typical small country diner style. The price to portion was very typical of the Quad Cities. We tipped well as the place was clean, friendly, well lighted, and not too busy.

Our book club meets here monthly. There is a large table where can enjoy breakfast & have our book discussion without bothering the other guests.
