Dood With A Cru
The staff were great. We randomly found this place and decided to check it out. I make small YouTube videos and they allowed me to record a little inside and welcomed me to do so. The pizza was great and they did say they do it better than those around and they were not wrong. I’ll be craving this pizza and can’t wait to try more of their food. We definitely will be going back. Thank you to the great staff. We got a simple cheese pizza but it was more than simple, really good.

Our first visit under the new ownership and the experience did not disappoint. The new look had bright, fresh, clean feel. the staff was amazing, friendly and attentive. The chef was great and came out to check on us, very friendly. Oh and the food! Had the special which was spicy sausage and peppers. It was incredible. A little different from the generic sausage with bell peppers with added pepper flakes to supply the heat. This had fresh Italian red peppers for an authentic heat that had a hint of sweet and provided a slow burn but then came on strong. My daughter had chicken tortellini. She gave me a night and I was torn which dish was better. The chicken cooked perfectly and the cream sauce was to die for! Overall extremely happy to have this restaurant continue (or improve) it’s tradition of incredible food. And I think the service and ambiance was a great improvement over the last few years. Can’t wait to get back there to try the pizza!

We were in town and came in to eat near closing time (we didn’t realize) and not only did they make us feel welcome, but above and beyond to make us the best Italian food! The lasagna was amazing! Thank you to all the staff, but especially to Emilio and Dan!

Great potential with great food. However, this place has a reputation for bad customer service. My family went in there during a busier time, and the gentleman at the register didn’t even acknowledge use. Stood there for 5-10 minutes and left.

Ordered a 4 topping xl pizza. Menu said it was 25.95 but when we went to pay the bill they charged us 32 dollars for the pizza. When we asked the owner about this he said that the prices in the menu are different than their actual prices. Then he said it was because of a surcharge built into the price of the item. He sat there looking at the pos machine for a couple minutes trying to rationalize why it’s our fault we were overcharged. He finally said “it’s only a few bucks, not that big of a deal.” Sure, scamming people for “only” a couple bucks is ok I guess.

The food is ok. Being from NY and from an Italian family, this food is not the first choice. The meatballs were very good just not worth $5 for two smallish meatballs. The calzone could have been good but they put the sauce on top of the calzone. The sauce they usually give is a meat sauce but I requested marinara. No one does that except Valentino’s. We also had the antipasto, if that’s what it was. It was a side salad. There was romaine lettuce, CANNED black olives, half pieces of ok salami, shredded mozzarella and dressing all over it all for $9+. The service was very good and the owners came around to y’all which I really like. This is why i gave it two stars. Total bill was $33. I’m glad I went but won’t go back. Oh well. People around here love it though.

Margherita pizza is EXTREMELY thin, with no cheese or tomatoes… worst Margherita pizza I’ve ever had… it cost $28 dollars, this is the extra large… feeds about 1 1/2 people and taste like an old stale flat bread. Really disappointed. More like an appetizer than a meal. I’ve had a good steak at this place and try to support our local restaurants but they really need to update a few things for me to continue coming here. They can start by putting the prices on their menu… what a racket
