This is, by far, one of the most flavorful pho broth that I’ve eaten in restaurants. I ordered the combo with the brisket, flank, and fatty something beef. I had to ask for more Thai basil, but maybe people don’t eat that much of it, but I love Thai basil. The eggrolls were nice & hot, could hardly eat it, so I let it cool down a bit. The tea was excellent, not too sweet, but sweet enough. The waitress did a great job. I will definitely be back. Not sure how long I’m here for this project, but I’ll go at least one more time while I’m here.

Amazing all around. Cozy atmosphere, Great tasting food, fast service, and we had the sweetest waitress! The chicken pho was better than our usual place, and that says a lot. I do believe this will be our go to for Vietnamese from now on!

I ate lunch here and ordered the brisket pho with a Thai tea. The broth is absolutely delicious and of course the portion size was huge! All the ingredients tasted fresh. I all but had to roll myself out of the restaurant lol.

V & V was my first Vietnamese restaurant in the Tennessee State. We ate here late at night, where it wasn’t very busy; only 2-3 other tables were full. The food here is okay, and restaurant design seemed average. My only gripe was how slow the staff was to serve us. We ended up seating ourselves, after waiting 10+ mins and me running around to find a waiter who told us it was self-seating. We sat down, read the menu and had to find another waiter yet again, to order our food. Even though it wasn’t busy, it just seemed that the staff were not very present, and constantly disappearing to the back for long periods of time; from my experience in the restaurant industry, it’s usually to chat amongst themselves or look at their phones. I’m not pleased.

As travelers, we stopped in on a whim, as we have never had Vietnamese food before. Everything was fresh and tasty. Our waitress was patient and allowed us all the time we needed. The bao buns were a great appetizer. Thai tea was wonderful. Pho and broken rice dish had large portions and tasted wonderful!
