I got the curry for $11.50 and it was delicious. The service and price is really great. Everybody who was in there was lovely and there were quite a few people eating alone. The portion of the curry was huge, so I was able to take it home and eat it for a second meal as well which was great. I am definitely going to come back and try other things on the menu.

V nam cafe is so homey, and the server is so so kind. They have all the typical vietnamese foods and more on their menu. I ordered the chicken banh no and beef pho! I thought they were pretty good, but nothing too special. If I were to choose one, I’d go with the banh mi :)) Dinner was fast and such a good price!

I liked the Banh mi sandwich more than pho.

Had one of the best bánh mi sandwiches here. A friend and I shared two sandwiches, a classic and a lemongrass beef.. The “spicy” level was actually spicy, there was a lot of pickled veggie goodness, and the bread was nicely toasted. The ground pork was flavorful and the lemongrass beef was tender. Overall, the food was really great.

I’ve lived in NYC for almost 5 years and I have finally found a legit Banh-Mi. It’s also a reasonable price that’s a steal compared to these other joints that mess with a perfect formula. I can’t wait to come back for the pho- i decided to get a side beef soup and the broth was EXCELLENT. Being from an area of Orlando with multiple Vietnamese restaurants and hole-in-the-wall Banh-Mi spots- I cant believe I’m so satisfied off of less than $15.

Wow! I’m born and raised in Chinatown NYC and never tried this place. My friend Amy always told me it’s really good. Well I finally had the opportunity to try it and it’s so damn good. The classic Bahn Mi might be the best is NYC. I’ll have to try it again to claim my statement. Good luck and best wishes to V Nam cafe Team

A hole in the wall restaurant. Came in on a Monday night and it was very busy, 3 of the 6 tables were filled with customers. Customer service is on point, one hostess/ waitress. A few cooks in the kitchen. Affordable prices.

Was surprised by the quality of Pho because we found this place last minute on Google Maps. It was unbelievably good for the price, or maybe we were just hungry lol. But as a Vietnamese person, I approved . Haven’t tried their Banh mi but with this quality of Pho, I am sure Banh mi is good here also

I love this place. I am convinced they have the best vegetarian / vegan pho in the city. I have tried at least 10 different veggie phos and this is by far the best broth / noodles / protein option.
