This place has great service and a beautiful design. Our waitress gave me suggestions on what milkshakes they could make and made an amazing one! I got a grilled cheese with some great tomato soup!! It was fantastic! The onion rings were ok, and the fries were pretty good. I will definitely be going back before returning home from this work trip.

Go back in time to good food, simple living, and a friendly feels like home atmosphere and you have a recipe for a great downtown centerpiece. The staff were awesome. We stopped in to beat the heat with their cold treats. Their ice cream, shakes, and gelato were so good and just what the doctor ordered. This is a must go to place in Uvalde.

Everytime I travel in from Houston, this is my go to place! I love the decor and atmosphere . I was so excited to share this place with family but today was terrible. We were a table of 7 and it took so long for everything. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger and when it was brought to the table, the meat and fries were cold. All orders were missing items or incorrect and the tator tots and fries were cold. We asked for fresh and hot fries and tator tots, we were told we would need to pay for additional fries and tots. I had to double check that is what she said. I just don’t understand how we could be charged for cold food. I was so disappointed. We wanted to just let a manager know the issues and they never came over. I have never had an issue before with Rexall but today was totally disappointing. A total waste of money and time.

Awesome old school feel. Loved the oldies played. Burgers looked Bomba and were suggested but taco salad was the craving; fresh and portions were good. Lots of sweets to choose from ice cream to gelato or fresh pies and cakes. Feasible pricing.

Just had the worst experience! My party of 4 arrived at 12 noon ordered 3 club sandwiches and 1 childs sliders. We waited 50 mins for those sandwiches. There was maybe 4 other tables in the whole restaurant. Unfortunately we had an appt at 130 and we had to rush thru our meal. I even took mine to go! It was such a disappointing service. Seemed like there was only 1 waitress. So sad cause we invited my parents to have a nice lunch which turn to a rushed meal

Wife and I ordered BLTA. BLT with avacado. Said short staffed. But my daughters burger and grandsons food came out and 20 min later we finally got the BLTA. The only cooking was the toast as the pre do the bacon. Which was a joke on its own. 2 pieces of bacon on the whole sandwich. Won’t be back. Very disappointed

First visit, very disappointing. Our waitress was very nice and attentive, great service. The salad we ordered was very fresh and well presented. However, the onion rings were cold, so cold the oil was visibly congealed. That was disappointing because they looked plump and well battered, but not enjoyable. Same thing with the fries. They got the burger order wrong and that would have been okay, except that it was so salty that it could not be balanced out by the rest of the sandwich. Not edible. We had high hopes for this place and wanted to like it. Also, the ice cream in display case looked watery and freezer burned. I don’t think we’ll be giving it another try.
