We opted for the afternoon buffet. The selection was rather limited, with the absence of biriyani being notable. If you’re seeking a more Indianized culinary experience, this might not be the best fit, as the flavors lean towards a more Americanized palate. The lack of taste was apparent, and plates were swiftly cleared even while we were still eating ️. Service was prompt, and the food wasn’t served piping hot. Ultimately, this isn’t the place for those craving a truly flavorful and appetizing meal .

This place is amazing. He most flavorful and decently priced. I’ve had countless pleasures visiting this lovely place but always seem to forget to get a picture while the food is on my plate. That’s how great the food is.

As soon as you walk in, your greeted with a friendly welcoming smile, the food was well seasoned and flavors were amazing, my favorite part was the lamb and the naan (of course ), went on a rainy day so it definitely hit the spot If you are in the area it’s a definitely MUST TRY!

We love dining at Utsav! The food is fresh and delicious (my favorite is the butter chicken!), but the other reason Utsav has become our go-to lunch spot is Raj’s EXCEPTIONAL HOSPITALITY. Each time we visit, Raj is attentive, welcoming, and goes above and beyond for us. For example, on multiple occasions, we have brought my toddler with us to eat. Anyone who has dined with a toddler knows the stresses that come with it — messes, noise, etc. — but Raj is always so welcoming of my son and engages with him throughout the visit. This not only delights my son, but also helps us feel relaxed and comfortable to enjoy our meal. Time and time again, Raj welcomes us and greets my son by name, which is meaningful to us!

This place just reopened under new management recently. The food is AMAZING. I got medium and being brown it did have a kick. The Buryani is very well seasons and all the different type of meat curries (chicken, lamb, fish, shrimp) were incredibly good with their selection of naan. The flavors were phenomenal and the food was delicious! That said, we were really disappointed with the amount of chicken that came in the Chicken Tikka Masala. For 16.99 there should definitely be a bit more than 7-8 small pieces – this is the 2nd time this has happened. Besides that, everything else was fantastic.

Best Indian food in torrance. My wife and I ordered some Naan,butter chicken and lamb curry for our families and everyone enjoyed it so much. The owner welcome us as we walked in the door. Upon picking up our order he said please let me know how the food was and if anything needs to be fixed ” I will correct it”. Thank you for the great service We will be coming back but this time with the whole family.
