Utopia restaurant is located downtown Bangor. Our menu items are from scratch made with fresh ingredients. We have a diverse menu, offering braised duck, local seafood, moussaka, flatbreads, even fresh vegan ravioli! We happily accommodate those with dietary and lifestyle needs whether you’re vegan, gluten free, or dairy free our menu is designed to fit our guests individual needs! Utopia has a full bar with a fabulous wine selection, local beer, and craft cocktails. There is a bar menu that has poutine, wings, flatbreads, and a jumbo pretzel.
Reservations are recommended but we do accept walk ins when seating is available.

Genuinely some of the best and most flavorful food I’ve ever had! The roasted Brussels were a party in my mouth and the moussaka was divine. This is exactly what I hope for when I go out – flavor combinations, textures and experiences that I could never achieve at home. As a vegetarian, there were so many options and easy to identify what was veg. Very thoughtful and well done! Thank you for a great evening out!

A lovely restaurant with so many thoughtful details throughout! From fresh flowers on the tables to jazz classics playing from the speakers, the space felt incredibly inviting. Attentive and friendly staff. If anything they were too attentive and coming to the table a bit too often (I think I counted 4 different servers coming to our table at different times), but that seems like a funny thing to complain about since they were all friendly and polite.

Wonderful little Mediterranean spot in downtown Bangor. Close enough to the airport to stop by on your way for a nice lunch. The bisque was so good, as was the hummus appetizer. They are gluten free friendly if you just ask for a substitute for dippers or what’s on your plate. The falafel is delicious and so were the fried olives!

One of our favorite “nice” places in Bangor, hands down. Absolutely spectacular food, the service was great, even though they were super busy. It is a lovely smaller restaurant that is not too noisy and romanticly rustic. Perfect place for laid back date night. Amazing hummus. Strongly recommend.

My partner and I absolutely love this fine establishment. I love the beautiful decor and fresh, real, flowers! We have gone here so many times the staff treat us like family and know us both by name. We are both creatures of habit and always order the Roasted Brussel Sprouts, Mixed Mushroom Papperdelle Pasta and a dessert which we change up everytime. I have yet to try a dessert (Or entree) I didn’t like. I find the pricing to be more than reasonable, this isn’t frozen, precooked, prepackaged food. It’s homestyle and made from scratch and it really shows. In addition to being very big portions. I also think it’s really neat how they bring out water in really fancy bottles and leave it on your table. Finally, I love the entire staff here. The owner Rachel is very, very nice and it’s always so wonderful to see her. Can’t wait to see everyone again soon!

Friends and I had dinner at Utopia on Sunday evening. When making our reservation, we were told there would be only one server. Our server (and bartender), Emmitt, was amazing. In addition to serving delicious meals in a timely manner, our drinks were perfection! He did it all! We will definitely go back for some wonderful food and service in a beautiful setting. This place is amazing! The vibes here are absolutely wonderful, I felt so welcome from the time I walked in to the time I walked out. The service was great and our waitress was very attentive. The food is phenomenal! My friend and I ordered the brussel sprouts and I got the chicken shawarma. Every bite I felt like I was in heaven.
