This is the best hotel breakfast I’ve had in a long time. We ate here two days in a row and enjoyed every bite. We ordered the egg breakfast sandwich, the chicken sandwich, the French toast and the big bowl of fruit, ALL FANTASTIC! I WISH I could’ve tried the blueberry pancakes. Our waiter was awesome and went out of his way to ensure we enjoyed our meal. The seating is thoughtful and you aren’t so close to people, the area is bright, open and airy.

This is a great spot for diner. The atmosphere is really nice. Oysters and steak tartare were spectacular. The complimentary cornbread is a nice touch and delicious as well. My date had the halibut, which was prepared perfectly. I ordered a grass fed NY strip medium rare. It was more medium than rare and it was good but not amazing. The roasted bone marrow was flavorful but not plentiful, as I’ve enjoyed at other restaurants. The mashed potatoes however, were ridiculously delicious. I’d definitely return for another meal as the entire experience was exceptional.

So good!! Highly recommend! Beautiful restaurant. Ann Dee was our server and she, and all other staff, were friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The food was incredible! We started with scallops. Then had wagyu, pork chop, and mushrooms to share. Then finished with seasonal ice cream and sorbet, berry and chocolate. Everything was so amazing. 10/10 🙂

I can’t imagine why there would be a complaint about this place. I had lunch her with a friend awhile ago & our server couldn’t have been more pleasant, attentive and dotting on us. She was exceptionally patient as well. My friend had already been drinking before we arrived & didn’t slow down even a little bit. Thus he became rather a nuisance and a huge embarrassment to me. But she was so kind & helpful to me in getting him re-directed & re-focused so I could get him out the door. All while still being a fabulous server & the food was absolutely fabulous. By far THE BEST Ham I’ve ever had in my entire life. Organically free range pigs that are fed only a specfic kind of sweet apples their whole life which is what makes the ham have the BEST TASTE EVER! The bartender was also, equally as great.

Great Steak Restaurant in downtown Portland! Nice atmosphere, friendly staff and fantastic food! Went there yesterday with a group of 6 and Webalbum enjoyed it! Steak was cooked to perfection, trout was crisp and delicious, all in all a very good experience!

Sandra was an awesome hostess and Laura was a phenomenal waitress. The steak, the sides, the drinks (especially the wine) were all extremely delicious. We have the steak sampler and the kitchen was kind enough to cut each steak so my partner and I could share. The only thing we didn’t really like was the “cornbread” it tasty as bit salty and did not compliment the meal, however everything else was superb, with special shout out to the blue pool oysters!

The steak flight is sure a good idea for meat lovers, and our waitress was very nice and helpful. But overall the cooking and seasoning are lacking the wow effect. And it’s just another nice to try eatery in Portland.
