The food was good, drinks were okay. The sangria came in a regular glass.. and the beer glasses were tiny. The dessert is always the best part here! All fresh made and delicious. Servers here are always nice.

I loved this place when I would Crave for something different. Now, it’s an Uptown Bar & Eatery with a great vibe that I highly recommend. You can park in front or on the side. Eat inside or outside. Just make sure you stop by and experience the food, cocktails, and vibe.

Not from Ansonia so it was our first time. Everything was just great, Everything came together from beginning to end. The waiter was attentive to my elderly parents and aunt.

We’ve been devouring their hanger steak since the days of Crave and just love experimenting with the specials whenever we can. But at the end of the day… the chimichurri on the hanger is best we’ve ever had.

Let me tell you my husband and I were huge fans of Crave and at first didn’t understand the rebrand at first, but we were willing to give Uptown a try and it was amazing. Everything we ordered was perfect from dinner to the cocktails. Eddie was our waiter and he was great! I will say I have also been for lunch and the food we had was great but the service wasn’t so great, but this dinner was fabulous. Can’t wait to come back!

Amazing food and cocktails as always. To drink we had the “Ultimate vice” which was gin, cucumber, mint, mango nectar, and lime juice- yum, and amazing blackened mahi-mahi over grits! I have to say I was a little skeptical when it changed from Crave but they kept 2 of my favorites – the tuna tacos and even improved upon the tres leches. (I do miss the avocado shrimp salad and nachos with Smokey guacamole) But everything was superb! We’ll be back!

Such a great experience this evening. Right when we walked in, we were approached by a lovely woman and that sat with a phenomenal bartender. She was patient and helped us figure out exactly what to order, both food & drinks. The food was run out but another friendly face. They also had a talented guitarist/singer perform. 10/10, wish we discovered the place earlier.

I visited Crave with a group from work shortly after they opened sometime in 2007/2008. I remember authentic food options, great drinks and friendly staff and atmosphere. Fast forward to August 2020 for my wife’s birthday and we were both extremely satisfied with our visit. We were seated shortly after our reservation time, mostly because we wanted a outside (sidewalk) table. Their COVID measures for sanitizing and distancing were very adequate. Our drinks, appetizers and main dishes were delivered with a “masked” smile. We had a beautiful time celebrating her birthday with great food, drinks, smiles and laughs. Thank you Crave.

There were four of us on a Friday evening around 6:30pm. We had cocktails while we sat in one of the cozy couch areas. Our server kept checking on us and told her to let her know when we wanted a table for dinner. We did that and had a very nice time. The drinks, service and food were all terrific. The kitchen was a little backed up perhaps as our entrees took a while to come out but that was fine and when they did come out they were beautifully prepared and very tasty! We felt valued and cared for here. Would recommend!
