We have an indoor and outdoor stage. Pool table, darts and pull tabs are available inside and outdoor we have yard games.

They have outdoor patio seating but it’s also where everyone smokes. We only ate outside because we had our dog so, I recommend eating indoors if you can to avoid mosquitos/cigarette smoke.

Loved the food, service was just ok. One bartender took lots of breaks, the other stopped paying attention to patrons immediately once her friends/family came to the bar. Also, there was a separate charge for me to use a card which wasn’t disclosed until afterwards. By that time the bartender was too preoccupied with family or friends to pay any further attention. I paid it and left as I had better things to do with my Thurs.

Great vibe! Only indoor music venue in Cook County. You can usually catch bands here on the weekends. Food is awesome. I love the flat breads. Beer selection is legit. Up Yonder has a full bar including hard alcohol, which is hard to find in Grand Marais.

Up Yonder has all the ingredients to be a dive bar, yet they offer so much more. Good food, get the poutine, good service, and they had a DJ going on at 9pm last Saturday night. Too late for me, but was obvious he would play your song of choice for a modest gratuity.

Was here after Lutsen 99er. Had a blast. Staff was super nice and accommodating. Food not exactly chef-worthy but if you want a hearty meal and some good conversation…this is the place.

Up Yonder is a work in progress. Remodeling is being done by its new owner, but so far the old “Harbor Light” is looking good. The menu is a nice mix of burgers, appetizers, salads and flatbread pizza. The veggie Flatbread is really good & perfectly sized for one person. A great new dining option in Grand Marais!
