I got the four meat platter with brisket, pulled pork, ribs and chicken hind. Everything was amazing! Super tender, and full of flavor. Nothing needed barbecue sauce but the sauce was also amazing!! Four different sauces to choose from, each were amazing in their own way!

The BBQ pork is fantastic and the cornbread is Bussin’ (very very good). The man working there was super nice and the food came out before we even sat down. Super quick and close to the airport.

Went to Up In Smoke on a Saturday afternoon, not busy inside. I ordered brisket nachos ($10) and my girlfriend ordered a roasted chicken hindquarter ($7) and mac and cheese ($3). The nachos I’ve received were enormous and beautiful, with generous brisket, house made pickled jalapeños, house made sour cream, and house made chips. My meal was delicious, and would recommend to anyone. My girlfriend’s chicken was smoked to perfection, with a semi-sweet skin, and the inside perfectly moist. The serving was generous for her also, and the mac and cheese paired well with it. We ordered cornbread ($3) on our way out, which proved to be as delicious the next day as it was fresh. All in all, I would recommend this place to anyone, the prices are superb, the food excellent, and the service wonderful.

First time trying Up in Smoke- I ordered the pork nachos… BEST NACHOS IN TOWN, HANDS DOWN! These were nicely layered, not just toppings on top of chips. Hubby ordered the chicken leg quarter with a side of mac & cheese….he said both were amazing! The chicken was smoked at the perfect temp and the mac & cheese had bits of brisket throughout. The service was fantastic. We can’t wait to go back as this is our new favorite place!

Overall I’d give it a 7 out of 10. I got the half rack of pork ribs. These were spare ribs, so not St. St. Louis, they had the whole riblet attached. For sides I got the cheesy potatoes and the coleslaw. Now the coleslaw wasn’t my favorite, it was savory, not sweet and maybe a little too salty. The cheesy potatoes were okay, they weren’t the best cheesy potatoes I’ve ever had but they were okay. I think they could have used some acid and maybe a little more tang. The ribs were definitely the star of the show as it should be. The rub is unique. It was very cumin forward but not in a bad way. They were very tender, borderline too tender. But the flavor was good and the quantity was great. You can tell they’re burning clean smoke. The bathrooms were very clean. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Overall it was a great experience.

This is a new BBQ place in Czech Village. Nice location and sizable seating area. Staff was friendly and the restaurant was clean. The meat was good but not great. The baked beans were good with pieces of green peppers. The cheesy potatoes were dry and not very cheesy. It needed butter, sour cream and onions too. It is new so I might try them again in six months and see.

The nachos are delicious (takes time) but half order is more than enough to share with 3 people. If you like sour cream then ask for extra lime crema on these. Had the Mac n cheese and cheese potatoes both legitimately good.
