My husband and I finally tried this place, and while there’s nothing “wrong” it’s definitely just a small step above Taco Bell. I found it to be overpriced for what it is, and while the food is fine, it’s not exceptionally delicious and tasty. The cheese dip was thick and not queso blanco, more like Velveeta, and the chips were unsalted. I also couldn’t get any “toppings” added into my Quesadilla. It’s definitely not worth 40$ for two entrees. If I wanted to spend that much I’d go to a table service restaurant. However, as I mentioned the food is perfectly fine; if you’re looking for a quick mexican-ish meal and in a hurry, this is a convenient stop on your way to the interstate. The restaurant was clean and well lit, the staff was cordial, and the food was made quickly. If you have stopped going to Izzos Illegal Burrito on Hwy 21 because of the frightening condition of that place, this is something sort of comparable that you could try, although they don’t have the charred corn so many people love. My husband was just excited to have a burrito bowl so I’m sure we will return.

Update: my review below is from the first week they opened. I went at noon today to dine in and the girl who was supposed to be up front taking orders was too busy flirting and standing back by the kitchen talking to the guys to take my order. The drive through lady kept saying someone would be with me, but it took her the other lady a good 5 minutes to turn around to help me. Then they forgot the guacamole on my tacos. Had to go back and tell her they forgot it so they could give it to me. Also, they are very sparse with the cheese and sour cream. I felt like maybe they just started out strong but they are quickly dwindling in my mind. Do not know if I’ll come back. Things have deteriorated since the first week. Ultimately I do not feel it was worth the $12+ dollars for 2 red fish tacos. The drive through employee is the hardest worker you have!

me and my sisters stopped here on our 16 hr trip back home and the owner tommy was so amazing to us! you have to try this place. The steak and cheese quesadilla is top tier, the nachos are delicious, and the steak tacos are so fresh. Food came out quick and super hot!

The young man at the drive thru was professional and nice and I got my food pretty quickly. Unfortunately, that’s the best I can say. I got 2 brisket tacos. For $5 each, I was expecting brisket. I could scarcely find any. It was a lot of eggs and some cheese with a little barbecue sauce. I’m hoping it was a fluke and this is not the normal portion.

Welcome to Covington, #UnoDosTacosCovington! We took Ben the Burrito, Darcy, and headed over to the newly opened location across from Hannan High School.

Stopped by today to try the breakfast tacos! Went through the drive-thru and the guy that waited on me was very nice.

First time here today for lunch and it was SO good! We will be back! I got the birria tacos and a side of rice. Rice has a little kick to it which is delicious in my opinion!

This franchise does not support veterans, no discount provided. It was our first time here and the food was good but nothing special. Honestly, I feel it’s a little pricey for what you get. About $15 for 2 tacos when you can get the same type of tacos at Taco Bell and get a family pack.

Came here after a very very long day (disc golf tournament) and were SO glad we did. The food was awesome, very obviously fresh ingredients and super tasty. The staff was friendly and our food came out in like 2 seconds which was great because we were hungry bordering on HANGRY. 10/10 would recommend and will be back!

There is barely anywhere around here to eat, so when we saw this place being built we were absolutely stoked to eat tacos every day. Unfortunately the reality really didn’t deliver on the expectation at all. We have now eaten here 4 times, with the experiences spanning from right when they opened until just recently a few days ago. The service is definitely below par. Slow regardless of what time you go or how many people are in line. Not being fast food is one thing, but 20-45 minute drive thru waits are unacceptable. Food is delicious but pricey for what you get, portion and quality both considered. We have paid $60+ for a drive thru order for 3 people. Churros are the best deal but extremely greasy, and barely any cinnamon sugar with the teeniest little communion cup of chocolate sauce. Ultimately we probably have spent our last dollar here after the most recent order, appx $25 for 3 tacos and a churro + a 28 minute wait. The fact that you can barely get into the parking lot at the pizza place across the street but you can drive right up to this place – let that tell you everything you need to know.
