If you don’t mind spending $40 for lunch, this is a good spot. Each pint of beer is $9 and the cowboy burger with Thai mango salad was $28. Was it worth it?!? Yes it was. I just wouldn’t go to U of B for lunch often. The Folsom location does not have live music as the Roseville University of beer. This location hosts trivia night on Wednesdays at 8:00 p.m. . They are known for offering a wide assortment of craft beer on tap. You’re only allowed two samples per guests, so choose your beer wisely. My waitress was amazing and attentive. She gave me privacy when it was needed, yet she was there when I needed a refill. I would recommend this location have live music on the patio. It would bring in more customers. Also, to have more reasonably priced happy hour specials. IG: SACRAMENTOHONEY

A very solid 4 stars, coming from someone who is not a big beer person. The food and drinks were good, the main complaint is just the price points seem a bit high for what we got.

Food was pricey and not that great in my opinion. We had the fish and chips (okay)as well as a burger(dry) and the stuffed tots(actually pretty tasty). Might return for happy hour but probably not for a meal.

I love the service and food–a fun place to go, so I hope it lasts. Shrimp lettuce cups are awesome! And staff is awesome.

Spending over twenty plus years cooking and baking professionally, I’d like to ask the owners how they justify $17+ dollars for potstickers. Handmade doesn’t cost as much. Their menu may say fresh made, but I seriously doubt they’re making everything scratch. They’re welcome to charge what they want, as I have the right to call them out.

The food is really well done and the beer was enjoyable. I really like what they offer but I can’t justify going back because the prices are just unreasonable. 2 burgers with fries, 2 beers plus tax and 15% tip comes out to $80….

Drunken pig fries are good. Burgers are pretty good. Kids items come with water, fruit and mini churro bites. Kids food has a lot of food so if you have small kids they can probably share one meal. There was an Octoberfest fest on tap that was pretty good.

Great food and drinks! Love the atmosphere and the new location is super cute! Can’t wait to try their new brunch menu! My only complaint is the price point on everything is pretty high.

Great place. I just went there for the first time. I really liked the fish and chips. I opted for the garlic fries. My fish was crispy on ths outside and succulent in the inside. My fries had just the perfect balance of crispness. Give this place a try.

First time visiting, food looked intriguing… Not big beer fans but went for the food. The food was decent, have some interesting things on the menu like beer battered burger and a Korean marinated skirt steak. We had the fish and chips… Pretty decent… Not spectacular but good. The service was not great. The waiter was nice, knowledgeable and friendly… But we didn’t see him much during dinner and went big spans without drink refills. The atmosphere was very loud and difficult for us to have a conversation and no physical menus…sorry like that. Don’t want to be on my phone while at dinner. We would try it again but was not blown away.
