This is my first time at United Buffet and they had so many different dishes to choose from however I was there for the crab legs I cannot lie and I did find that there was a variety of crab legs including whole blue crabs and deep fried soft shell crab legs which I was thrilled about since I am a seafood lover! They also had some fabulous crab based hush puppies that I definitely wanted more of but I was so full of so much of the other food that I consumed I didn’t get any more but the next time I’m out in that state I will most definitely be visiting United Buffet and Grill.

This place was nice and clean, but I’m really not a buffet person although my husband is. Putting aside my feelings of buffets not being sanitary because too many people are reaching over food. I tried it but they didn’t have much that I could eat. I was told that I went on the wrong day cause most of the time they offer a better selection of seafood. However, I did have a salad (they make their own dressing and it tastes (to be polite) different ), fried & pilled shrimp which was okay. Overall, I say I’ll probably give it another try on a day they have a better selection of seafood.

I always love going here, even sometimes going by myself. I discovered this place, similar to hibachi’s, due to Golden Corral falling off, which I stopped going there because they overcharge for what is being offered. But here the prices are pretty fair and the food options is vastly better. The only thing Golden Corral has over hibachi-like restaurants is that they play calming and mellow smooth jazz. My preferred taste in music.

NOT RECOMMENDED. I went back to this because I wanted to give them another shot. I took two people with me. It was more of the same. The managers have very nasty attitudes that extendeds to the service. The people I took agreed. One waitress gave great service. The food was just average, but the restaurant was clean. The lowest point was the service. The waiter only came once, we had to refill our own drink, and ask him to take our plates. There is a definite need to improve service.

NOT RECOMMENDED: The buffet told me that my son who is 1 had to pay for his drink. When I informed them I was told he ate free, they said FOOD is free, they pay for drink. This has not been my best experience with food service.

The food overall was solid and our waiter was on top of our drinks and plates, but whenever I’d walk past the drink refill area I’d see staff prepping dumplings with no gloves. Even our waitress who we saw touching dirty plates and cups, prepping food with no gloves. No complaints about the service itself, but due to what I saw I just can’t feel comfortable eating here again. Makes me wonder what’s happening in the back. Completely unsanitary.

I will disagree with some of the comments. I’ve been to this place 4 times since they opened and let me tell you the food is delicious. The food is always hot something rare in Chinese buffets. The first couple of time the service was a little slow but is because of they dis not have to much personnel. The servers are really attentive.

Please ignore the negative comments because United buffet was really delicious. I was very impressed with the hibachi grill and I will definitely come here again. The ice cream when it comes to dessert soft serve their soft serve it’s like Carvel definitely go out for the soft serve after your meal.
