Flavorful Jamaican food with extremely friendly service. I had curry goat, rice & peas, mac & cheese and cabbage. Everything was fresh, tasty and good. Unique serves different specials through out the week. Can’t wait to come back for my favorite Jamaican dish that they serve on Saturdays: Akkee & Callalo!

This is my second time coming to Unique Cafe and each has been amazing. The first time I went I was served by the the owner whom was the absolute kindest gem and the food was loaded with flavor. The second time I went, there were a couple of teenagers working there as well and they were so professional, respectful and polite. I ordered the oxtail plate with rice and peas which came with two sides so I got the Rasta pasta and sweet plantains. For $13 I’ve been to other places that give more food for that price but the flavor and quality have not been this good. I visited Jamaica years ago and the food at Unique Cafe taste the closest to what I had while on the island. Home cooked and made with love. I’ll definitely be returning in the near future.

Highly recommend this place, I loved it. My friends and I ordered juices, the goat curry, and the stewed fish, and every single thing was perfect (pictured here is the goat curry). The service was wonderful, and they give enough per order for extra meals. Next time I’m in the area, I hope to grab what I didn’t get last time! If you get takeaway, it’s recommended you call 1/2 hr in advance.
