I enjoyed the pulled pork sandwich. It came with mashed potatoes. I didn’t care for the mashed potatoes. They needed something more, maybe more butter or milk to make them creamier. Or seasonings to make them stand out. They were bland and lumpy. My partner had the fried chicken which he said was just okay. We tried this place because it was a small business. Strawberry Lemonade was very good and unlimited.

This restaurant was a complete surprise. We are visiting from out of town on vacation and found it on google maps. When they say family owned and operated they mean it. The husband cooks the food and the wife takes orders and waits tables. She is very pleasant and fun to talk to. You literally feel welcome once you walk in the door. The food was truly homemade. The pot roast reminded me of what my grandmother used to make and that is a huge compliment. We will definitely go back one more time before we leave town and head home. What a great find!

I came in for lunch on my way back from Phoenix, and having read some reviews, I decided to drop in. I decided on the Oh Boy shrimp sandwich, with a side of chips. The dressing used on the sandwich is really good, the shrimp was well done, and the chips were just amazing.

I have ordered from Unique Bites over 10 times, the pot roast dish is excellent , the BBQ pulled pork sandwich is also excellent , and the cheese burger is on a whole different level! . This restaurant is in my top 3 in the Coachella Valley.

The food is decent to good, it’s just quite expensive for what you get. Of the spicy sausage sandwich, the shrimp “Oh Boy”, and the spinach-mushroom-cheese bread buns, only the spicy sausage sandwich was really of note. The Oh Boy was on the underwhelming side of things and the stuffed bread buns had way too much cheese and almost no mushrooms, along with being way too small for 2 buns for 11 bucks. I wanted to like the house-made kettle chips, but about 1/3rd of the bag was soggy and weren’t spiced enough to really warrant not being simple salted chips. Perhaps their plates are better, but there’s definitely better places to go for quality non cold-cut sandwiches.

So so yummy! I am gluten free, while the rest of the family is not, and while they only have a few gf options (not complaining, I’m honestly surprised that they had the options marked on the menu!), they are all delicious. The creamy chicken and rice was so so good! A good portion size for the price. The employees there are so nice and provide amazing service. Super clean place with clean bathrooms. If I lived near the area, I’d be a regular!
