This place was beyond expectations. Super friendly guy working the counter. Not sure if he was the owner or not. I had the fish & chips with fried clams. Superb. Made to order, fresh. Definitely want to eat right away. Cool collection of English snacks and canned goods for sale. Can’t wait to try again

This is and always has been the best F&C in OC. Original owner who takes pride in his quality… which is hard to find these days. Side note…hidden gem on the menu is the fried zucchini. It’s fresh-cut and hand-battered! Not frozen junk like many restaurants use.

I saw the reviews for this place were good, so I thought I would give it a try. 5 Stars all the way! Healthy? No. But dang was it great tasting! Large pieces of fish, crispy crust, fish cooked perfectly, and a good serving of fries. I will be coming back. -Steve

Fish and chips are way above expectations. Made to order, fresh. The batter and fish is unlike any around the area. Definitely well recommended !

I’ve been trying to find a place that served fried clams. This is a small place with British groceries. Great fish and chips! The shrimp, scallops, clams and chicken were really good as well. The food was not greasy and they serve it on paper plates, so you can really tell if it’s greasy or not. The owner was very nice and friendly.

The best place for classic fish and chips! The service is good, fish is made to order, and the tartar sauce is delicious. Grew up in the area and wish I went more as a kid!

Usually get the seafood combo but was craving their fish.. so I got 6 of them with extra tartar sauce! Had to do it, and was so worth it! The oil always is clean and fresh
