My wife and I stopped by for the Grand Opening weekend a couple weeks ago and we could not be more excited for this place! We met the owners, a very nice couple that live locally. I have attached several photos from that weekend. Plenty of local beers available and bbq was excellent as well! Currently open Fri, Sat, Sun but hoping to expand to 7 days/week in the future. Highly recommend this hidden gem!

Way back when I was younger the Union Hill Trading post was open and a little BBQ joint, it closed down while I was in high school and you can imagine my absolute delight when earlier this year I found out it was under new ownership and going through a remodel to open their doors again! This has become a weekly stop for me. Lovell’s BBQ ( the farm and supplier of their pork) is the best I have ever tasted. Not only is it locally cooked, it’s locally raised! It’s a win win with Union Hill Trading Post!!!

We stopped here for a late dinner with a large group. Nice inside bar, music playing. Nice outside sitting also with picnic tables both under an awning and out in a small fenced area. Small limited menu but so good. We tried to all, half chicken, pork sandwich, pork nachos, coleslaw, potato salad. Food was delicious! Sweet bbq sauce. Only recommendation is to include green beans or baked beans as an additional side, but seems like they recently opened and had a limited menu to start. Friendly staff. Would totally stop here again!

Excellent spot. Great BBQ, awesome bartenders, and a true local getaway from touristy downtown Nashville. Grab a seat on the patio and get the nachos. You won’t regret it.
