Unexpected menu flavors delivered in all the best ways! So much pride, love and top notch skill was clearly present in our drinks, small plates, entrees and desserts! The papaya burger was exceptionally delicious and I usually balk at what I call “fussy burgers”, but nothing here was doing too much and everything added in the most perfectly balanced way. Extra huge props for the sexy N/A cocktail menu which was so tasty and fun!! To top it all off we felt like we were spending our money with a good cause and getting handsomely rewarded for doing so with the experience we were provided <3

We ended up here by chance and boy, we were lucky! Understory has a solid f&b menu with plenty of delicious (and healthy!) options for the meat and veggie eater. We absolutely loved the rice porridge, and the cardamom cocktail was yummy too. Their staff is super sweet and friendly, we’ll definitely be back soon!

I never leave reviews but had to for this place – this is the best brunch i’ve had in the bay if not anywhere. We got the vegetarian sampler and everything was incredibly delicious and perfectly seasoned. The ube horchata and latte were amazing as well. I will be recommending this place to everyone!!
