I wish there were a sixth star! The food was very, very good. I had sausage gravy, buiscits, eggs, hash browns and bacon. Perfect! The atmosphere was very welcoming, like a family diner that just feels like home and the service was great! My server, Nancy, was amazing! I can’t say enough about her – she told me great stories about climbing Devil’s Tower and just made me feel like a regular local. Uncle Louie’s is top shelf all the way!!

Excellent breakfast, excellent service. Good size breakfast at a decent price served with a smile and a good cup of coffee. I highly recommend especially if you’re in a hurry we were in and out so quick it would make your head spin lol.

We stopped in after a visit to Devil’s Tower! The food was great, the service was great! The waitress recommend a stop at the Hatchery in Spearfish which was not even on our radar and was a huge hit with our kids. (7&9)

After you get past the “hostess” who was a bit of a grump (I’m thinking an owner that would rather be retired and I don’t blame her!), we had a great lunch. Our server Nancy was so friendly and almost running to wait on Ebro. Very attentive! We had chicken fried steak, chicken fried chicken and soup and salad bar. All yummy, large portions, and fresh made. The chili and beans was very good too. Definitely recommend stopping. Wish we could have stuffed in a peice of pie, strawberry rhubarb looked wonderful.

Tons of small town charm and excellent food to match. We wanted a more hardy breakfast that would carry us for some time as we headed back East and home. We were not disappointed. I ordered the egg sandwich with bacon and cheese. Along with the hashbrowns and large OJ, I was stuffed! Belly full, belly happy.

Swung in for lunch after Devils Tower. Great food, great server and the owner went table to table asking about food. This is a Diner but does have a bar. Kid friendly and good food. Gluten free bread and buns at just $1 more and breakfast served all day. If we lived closer, I would visit more often. ***we found his location in Sturgis and supposedly it is open only during the Sturgis rally. If so, try it out!

The service was awesome. Ordered the weekly special which was basically a hamburger steak, eggs and hashbrowns. The food was pretty good, hashbrowns cooked just right, eggs fluffy. The hamburger steak was not dry, but perhaps a little greasy. Overall, if in the area again, I’d stop for a meal.

This is a good old style restaurant. Our choice today was a bacon, tomato, grilled cheese. It was, unfortunately, very dry. The onion rings were good and the service was good as well.
